Hello everyone at the GetPaidForum

I wanted to tell everyone rather advice everyone this more than two years ago as i had a bad feeling about it right from the start but now i think is the right time.

Then times were different ...people perceived (maybe rightly so) as a great online payment system secure and backed by ebay. They were all very happy with paypal until recently Paypal has started showing its true color. Freezing accounts and assigning bogus or no reasons.... all sorts of limitations....plus its not being international..... has made me even wary of them......not only that there customer service is such that i wanted to kill myself once i had to contact them regarding some limitation in my account.

Paypal recently has started banning search engine owners accounts as well which is really an eye opener. Claiming them to be pyramid schemes when they are not and shamelessly promoting their own affiliate programs and offering a sort of pyramid scheme....at least it is more like a pyramid scheme rather than search engines.

So heres it......why dont we all boycott paypal and do something else
move onto egold moneybookers stormpay or others
i know it might be a bit difficult for uploading funds but cant we afford a lil fee for keeping our money in our OWN hands? Or maybe we should suggest to egold and others to offer uploading funds through them and at lower fees.

Then again with PTrs and SEs not being accepted as legitimate businesses....
why dont the gurus at getpaidforum start a new payment system solely for PTRs and SEs.....it should be worldwide and easy to spend withderaw and upload.

What do you think about it?
PS: Thanks for reading this much.

I have no problems with Paypal. I have no use for egold - too much hacking. I only belong to one site that will only pay in egold and its only a few pennies a month so its no big deal. The others you mentioned I've heard too many bad things about to trust so I'll stay where I am.

I'm a PayPal Business Premier (I guess thats the little title they give)... Been a PayPal user since they started or colse to it... Only had one problem, and it was some jerk in the UK using my PayPal card to charge AOL services. They finally got it straightened out (delay was due to AOL not wanting to co-opperate).

Then there is e-gold... Never had my account hacked. Use it regularly. Only thing I can figure that I do different than MOST (read most, not all) people who have been hacked, is I let my Password Software generate a random password for e-gold. Heck, I don't even know my password. lol...

I have a Moneybookers or whatever, and a few of the others, but never had the need to use them.

IMHO, paypal AND e-gold are both pretty decent.

I'm surprised they haven't come down harder on PTR too for similar reasons.

We find that 95% of payments come through Paypal.

They are really the only ones that allow withdrawals quickly and easily for us.

eGold and Stormpay are troublesome when withdrawing as they aren't well supported internationally.

At this time - we're still sticking with Paypal.

Thats interesting...i mean most of the countries in the world arent accepted at paypal but everyone can open an account at egold or stormpay.... well its up to u if you want to get your account frozen.....just take example from search engine owners whose accounts are being blocked and see the complaints and online paymenmts systems thread...maybe you will get a fairer veiw

i agree, so far no touble with paypal, however egold allowed someone to clean out my account... no refund but they put a limit on the thief (big deal)

Stormpay let someone take over my account without notifying me and i had to get another account just to communicate that to them. There is no way to talk to them unless you have an account. (i unsubbed right after i had my words with them)

One of my sites went to stormpay only and i left the site. i would rather lose a few dollars in clicks that a years worth of savings from all my sites. (i can't remember which site it was, but seems like they did a runner not long after i quit anyway)

Paypal did work very closely with me when a hacker attempted to take over my account. They seem more secure and my lesson was to plug my leaks and shore up my own security. Which i did. i was very grateful for the constant support from them throughout the night.
