With all the horror stories here and on GetPaidToBoycott, I am wondering if there are any honest webmasters around.
I have a friend who has been faithully doing Tasias and was paid a paltry amount of his actual earnings of well over $200. He is still doing it and it would appear to me, that he is wasting his time from all the complaints about Tasias. My word, GetPaidToBoycott has some real horror stories about Tasias and the ones here are just as bad.
How is it that webmasters are getting away with stuff like this? Are they not afraid of legal problems or even criminal problems?
Bringing my friend here to see some of these stories
Hard to believe there is nothing that can be done about some of these programs.
How sad!!!!!

Friend,

Tasia is not ALL bad, really.
I use it every day. I don't know what people are doing to get deleted or the worse.
Really, i don't.
If you read the PRAISE section, you will find written testimony that tasia ARE paying SOMEONE. I, so far, have spent all earnings on upgrades and advertising, and have harvested quite nicely in that fashion, so I am not too struck by the admittedly very slow payments from tasia. I think I am about to cross the one-year threshold of payment push-into-the future, but I really can't turn up any hostility, since the site yields income for me, only in different ways.

Adapt, improvise, overcome. Do NOT stoop as low as to write hate-mail.

That has never brought anyone any good.

I just want to let people know that there really is a more graduated status to Tasia than just all bad .. and the "SC**" word, which is taken out so frequently and gratitious by so many in here, falsely safe in their odd belief that free speech should also mean freedom from prosecution.

Yours,
Kilgast
ps: have a great week-end, everyone 8)
overload
I have also profited from advertsing at tasia's and should be paid within the next two days. I will pass judgement once I have some personnal experiences.

We shall see.....

Tasia is not that bad if you take it in the right proportions.
They used to pay everyone at first when program had
much less members and some members paid real hard cash
for their upgrades at start time and advetising.
The program rocket and grew lkike crazy but money didn't
come in andmost of activity is based on tpl earning whther it
was advertising or upgrades,so therefore payments take now
almost a year, also the webmaster accident which took him away for several
months contributed to this enormous backlog in payments
however he is doing his best with the circumstances around
and if members were smart and wise enough, rather than just
waiting for payments they could have ysed tasia as a tool to
make nice earnings through downlines in other programs.
I don't ask for payment knowing it takes ages,i do advertise
,is the advertising there has good qualiy?sometimes but it sure
helps earning at least from other paying sources on the net.
so try seeing the positive aspect rather than the negative one.

I cannot really speak in detail as to why others have been deleted, but I can tell you about my own deletion:

As a platinum member of Tasias since early January 2003 I used the site at first to earn money (and requested payout) and then later to run ads. By May I had so much in earnings and no further desire to advertise that I gave up much interest in the program. I clicked only enough to keep my account active whilst I waited for the payment that was due (after which I intended to unsubscribe).

By October I was (I believe understandably) fed up with the wait and pretty well had given up any hope of receiving payment. I then posted publicly and privately about my unhappiness with the program and about my concerns that many many people (including myself) were long overdue payment and were getting neither payment nor a promise of a firm payment date.

When one (or more) of these complaints was brought to Tasias attention I got an email accusing me of attempted extortion and quoting that, as I had not complained to them first, I was breaking the TOS and they were entitled to delete me immediately - which they did.

I of course sent an email to explain that I had contacted them before about payment but had never received any response (I was never at any time rude or threatening). There has been no reply to that email either.

That is the story of my experience with Tasias. Believe whatever of it you will - but I am not the first person to complain of being unfairly deleted from this program and I doubt that I'll be the last.

Why was I really deleted? I shall never know - my guess/opinion is that Len was in a bad mood and under pressure that day. He has many many people wanting payment and has nowhere near enough money to pay them all, perhaps not even the intention to ever do so. Finding excuses to delete people helps clear the backlog a little I guess.

What types of ads, or what programs, do people feel are the best earners for Tasias?

I am glad of being deleted by TASIA without reason.
