Lots of us in here choose our usernames based on certain personal information in our lives, such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc. For example, all my user name is is: The last 3 letters of my last name, the first 2 letters of my first name, and my oldest daughter's birthday.

So, what is the special meanings behind yours?

Mine is the first 3 letters of my husbands name and the last three letters of my name...

hehe... no special meaning in mine.

Basically when I used to play games like AOK and AOE with my friends, there was this one guy who always used the username tobojackson or tobo99. I decided to be annoying and use the same usernames when playing with him, and the name stuck. I tried to take tobo99, tobojackson, tobo2000, tobo2001 in hotmail, but they were all taken so I took tobo3000, and the name stuck with me ever since

i chose my name because of my cat Butterscotch. she was 7 in 2001 when she was diagnosed with chronic renal failure, thus the 'crf'. We spent many a night awake in 2002 just hanging out in the computer room. I was on here surfing around and discovered ptrs..thought I could at least put my awake time to use, maybe pay for the treatments a bit better..

My real name is Erin. When I was in high school there was another girl named Erin in my grade. We both had blond hair, green eyes and we're both 5'0" tall. We were both in band (playing the same instrument) and we had the same initials. It was really annoying to say the least! To make a long story short, I decided one day that I was changing the spelling of my name to Airyn. It has sorta stuck since then.

my nick came about because i have always said i'm not very "girly" so i decided to make up a word for a girl that isn't "girly"... that's where the extra "r" comes from. and 8 happens to be my favorite number.

But there is something special about my name, Pia. I just heard that it means "a loved one" in urdu (used in Pakistan for example)

Well my nickname comes from my love of the renissiance era and my belief that chivalry is not dead. In my volunteer work as a disability rights advocate I used my home email as a contact point. I got picked on by the folks where I now work about it. Then one day the executive director said I should change it to lady_knight because I was one heck of a fighter for people with disabilities. I adopted it as my new nickname. :ph34r:

Razcal is what my brothers call me they say Im like Taz never know where I will be when or what mood I will show up in but Taz didnt fit since I am a female.... So I guess to a 7,11 and 12 yr old Razcal also sounds like my real name Rachel so they put the two together... the 22 is from my birthday and the 67 was my beeper code way back when

Vardar is my soccer teams name, and 15 is my number for everything so i got vardar15!!!

Susan went to Susy, Suz, Suzy, Soos, Sooze, etc. Then later on when us crazies got together online and did our family tree...Emomazoooooooie. Alex is Edaddiopeeeeeep lol (dubbed by our e-daughter cuz he 'peeps' at her).

So I just incorporated it all together.

My real name, birthdate and st for saint-in the hopes that one day I will be an official saint, recognized by the church. Well no significance really. I do have to say that life is to short for us not to be happy. It does seem that I tend to shorten my id's after awhile. When I started using mine for an email address. It was behappy4life. The id became Behappy.

I also use started using the little2late at other forums. (because I always run a little late) Now, it is just little2. I guess I just get tired of all the typing. LOL

neha is actually my eldest daughters name. . been using as my screen name before she was even born in 2000. .

Well, "Akuma" has been always my nickname.
I started using it even before I started meeting people in the internet Some of my penpals used to call me that way, and I have always loved it

An "akuma" is a devil in Japanese mytologic tradition...

So I got this nickname for 3 reasons:
1. I love mythology.
2. I love learning about Asian cultures.
3. I am evilish

'inter' is my fav soccer team,
while 'p' it should be 'f' for fans
but then people will think i'm a female
so i change it to 'p'
i use this nick since about 3 or 4 years ago

My sister's ex-boyfriend gave me the nickname 'Moo' when I was about 15...I would talk and he would go 'Hey, does anyone hear that? I heard a cow! I heard it go 'Mooo'!' I became 'Mandy-Moo'.

I was NOT amused at the time, but when I started going to chat sites and wanted a nick that prevented me from appearing sexy but just friendly and always up for a good laugh!

I am a huuuuuuge WVU Mountaineer fan. (west virginia university) My friends and neighbors all know....If they are playin on tv...do not call or knock on my door until the game is over. And even then do so at your own risk in case they lost..lol. And yes, I have had neighbors tell me to quiet down a few times, as I do often yell at the tv..lol

Well people have always found it really hard to give me any nicknames, I think my real name Marika is a bit difficult that way. Then, when I was still studying, my room mate named me after a cartoon character Murikka. I didn?t actually like the name then, (and it means a big stone/rock in finnish ) but when I needed a nickname in the net, I just couldn?t think any other name, so I just fixed it a little

well there is a little story behind my name.

When I was little (5 years old) I began my first multiplayer session on a game.

Descent Freespace, I how ever needed to sign up for PXO and I needed a nickname.
Well I had no idea what to choose you I decided to stick to words together.

One was the name of my fravorite Level, The Big Bang
The second was Boy (for obvious reasons) and I came out with BangBoy

I played with that for a while intill my parents found out and said the name inplied I was Homosexual. Image my surprise and horror.

I quickly rushed to make a new name.

I decided to stick two words together again and I picked fire (for my love of fireworks. But I was stuck after that. My parents suggested byrd (why i don't know but it looked cool enough) so I came out with firebyrd I went to type that in but the name was taken. So I stuck on a 10 because that was my favorite number at the time. ( Because I couldn't wait to be a double digit) and I came out with firebyrd10 The name has stuck and the ONLY time I don't use it is when I can't. (taken or other wise)

When I signed up to my first PTR, it insisted that my user name include at least one number , since I had 2 kids and 2 pets at the time, I comboned that. Now I have 3 pets, so it's obsolete.
