Beer is awesome! The first beer I ever had, I was 10. Me and my father, mother, and sister were playing this dice game and my father gave me one. I didn't like it at first. My mom was buggin out...why the f*ck are you giving her that?! Somewhere along the way I started to like it. It's kinda an acquired taste.

why would you want to acquire a taste for beer? there are so many beautiful wines out there.

It just happens, you go to parties and everyone is having a beer drinking contest, and you want to participate. After a while it doesn't bother you anymore.

That reminded me of my dad. He used to say he only liked two kinds of pie:
Hot and Cold.
Now back on topic - I don't like the taste of Beer - but my hubby likes Bud and Coors.

Heineken. Domestic-Michelob. but, I drink whatever's available, not very picky. Prefer glass rather than cans.

On the few occasions that I do drink beer, I choose Keith's, a Canadian brand. I only like beer on a hot summer day or in the fall after being outside.

I like all kinds of beer, and love trying new beers whenever I get the chance -- especially when I'm travelling.
My favourite Canadian beers include Labatt Blue, Keiths, and Hart.
My favourite Australian beers are James Squire and Coopers. But I won't turn down a Victoria Bitter, Tooheys Old or Fosters either.
I never had a problem finding good beer to drink in the US -- the big brands including Miller High Life, Budweiser, and Michelob and lots of regional beers like Shiner in Texas, Abita in New Orleans, Old Dominion in Virginia, Pyramid in Washington, and Samuel Adams in Boston to name a few.
Newcastle and Bass are good English beers, and I won't say no to a Guinness, Harp, Murphy's or Kilkenny if Irish beer is what we're drinking.
I don't like beer snobs -- they're at least as irritating as wine snobs -- and while I don't think there's anything wrong with being a connoiseur, I'm more into drinking beer than sniffing it or sitting around talking about its hoppiness or fruitiness for hours. My beer-related discussion usually consists of "Mmmmmm...that's goooood beer! I'm gonna go shoot some pool."
Cheers,
Wil

Miller Lite.
~24 hours in a day. 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.
