ok my 1st run in with a scammer on ebay.. i purchased something on ebay september 8th and i clicked on the auction today and the user isnt registered anymore and i still havent received what i paided for. i only bid b/c the user had over 1500 feedbacks and 97% positive. so my question is can i get my money back somehow?

I haven't encountered that before, but I think you should check with ebay.

If you paid via paypal, you can request a reversal on it.

I'd also file a complaint with ebay.


If you paid via other means, egold, stormpay, or such, then I couldnt tell you on how successful it is at getting anything back. If it is by egold, then it's gone, but still file the complaint with ebay.

Does eBay pay properly and reliably? If so I would get my membership too in their 'get paid' scheme.
