In an email from the webmistress at Tombmailer she tells her members that because of the amount of redemptions she get's that she has made a schedule of what redemptions she will do on what day's so that the members will know when they can click on for their redemption...

I am at my daughters house on vacation and using her computer...just so you and everyone knows that we are not the same person..now on with what I need to say..I went in to my paidemail from tombmailer and was totaly disgusted with her click for redemption rules just because she is sick of all our redemption request.
Now she wants to make a schedule for us..lol..yeah right
I think we know when we want to redeem..and what for...does she know my schedule or yours..I think not..after all ....shes not the only working person and DONT we click for our benefit...I hope so.

I used to love this site but now..I dont like it now because of her attitude and threats and last but not least ..her seeming to be in LALA Land.

You know when these sites go from fun to being unnecessarily complicated..then to heck with it!!!
I think I will buy a site and show some of these webmasters how to treat their members!!!

I hope you have a lot of time on your hands. these sites are a lot more work than you would expect. I learned the hard way.

I understand how much work it is to run a site..that doesnt mean you have to be intimidating too.
It is also a lot of work to be a faithful member to check all email and do what is required to be a member...yes it is our choice..I love reading and clicking..but not to be told when to redeem on which day at what amount.

thats rubbish....an example is I went to my redeem page just to check my stats and a little note says all that I could redeem would be old cheese...
not worth sending and if I clicked the redeem button the account would be deleted..how distasteful...you call that hard work to put something like that into someones redemption page...it is also her choice to be a webmaster and run a site.....that doesnt mean she should be so hateful..........I really liked her at first and loved her site.....but she's changed...

My program is kinda like that. I require that members request redemption when they reach $5 by the end of the month. That way on the first of the next month, I can just make payments that day. It's a lot easier that way.

I understand what you are saying..but it has nothing to do with whats happening with tombmailer.

It is different than what you are doing.

Do you take a 7 day week..post a certain amount for each day that can be redeemed..then if you click on the "wrong" day ..your account would be deleted....? I think not.....yours sound ok.

I mean..c'mon now..putting us on a payment schedule...It should be up to the members..if they can redeem, to do so when they want to,any day of the week,or hour, to serve their purpose whatever it may be. It is the members own earned money.....

Also what about all the different time zones...our monday might be her tuesday..or so forth

I heard that a lot of members got deleted yesterday...She blames it on the program. I have never heard of a program deleting members before.

I think You may have all mis interpreted her e-mail.....We, as memebers can hit the ###### redemption buttons whenever we want, but she wont be doing certain redemptions until that particular day of the week.....I too thought it weird when I read her e-mail, but then thought about it, and realised that what she meant to say was, she would be doing certain redemptions on certain days......

I mean I would never remember what day was for what...I have a hard time remembering my log in half the time...lol

Also, I guess with written words it is hard to get the right "tone".....of voice they were written in, and I dont think Rhea means any harm, the same as Brenda....she too can be taken either way......It must get very frustrating with members that ask the same questions over and over, and hit redemption buttons when they have only 2 cents in there accounts..lol....It is a lot more work than we can imagone, I am sure.

Well I forgot to read the mail, went right in, got a redemption and was paid. I've supported rheas program for a very long time, maybe shes just trying to organize things for the better.

Rules and restrictions are in place, to protect both the member, and the business. So she tells us to redeem on certain days of the week? at least shes not ripping us off like other webmasters do. Every program has a weak point, i'm thankful its just something like a rota/sechedule.

Its easier to earn money there, than it is at many other places.

I do my own payouts monthly, and I do things by rota, like deleting inactives weekly, cheaters check on tuesdays, all kinds of stuff. The sites are hard work, I had to get in help because I couldnt manage (Thanks Cynthia), and I have a new site starting soon (Thanks Jeff). You might think its tough being a member, but try being a webmaster its quite a challenge.

I'm trying to figure a way to fit you in my schedule with me going back to work and all (I have no computer access until the guy gets a phone line) i'm only on now maybe once a week and the rest is at work for 14 hrs. you try doing all that than drive home for 3hrs and come home to catch up on missed advertising.

also we may have to resort to monthly so it's easier on me , so i can take care of things all in one shot. so this way paypal (cause i hear u can send in a group - i would like to try that) can stop asking me if i stole my card lol! heheehe If you do too many transactions they want to make sure no one is messing with your account. They called me twice about that. (I LOVE PAYPAL) It's nice to know there watching to make sure no one has stolen my card or is using my account without my knowledge.

I realize some members may not like it and want things right than and now but i am as honest as they come. I don't have the time to agrue and if they want to leave so be it. Those who stay know they will get rewarded.

Rhea, I think the monthly payout is better, that's what I use on my site. That's the only real restriction that I have on them. I'd just rather set one day aside so I can pay everyone instead of having to pay someone every day. Just a little easier that way.

I'm talking about for each transaction? If its a case of $1 per upload, then thats great i'll use it myself but I thought a while back that members at certain places were being charged a $1 transaction fee because of it being $1 per account?

I hope i'm wrong, just the impression I got with all these transaction charges.

Paypal doesn't charge anything to send money. It's receiving money that they start charging.
