I just installed and am running the Green Horse Ticker Bar.

I am wondering if anyone has actually been paid? There is a paragraph in the TOS that says:
"In the event of technical problems or data loss which causes a loss of account information, your account will be reset at $0.00, and you hereby waive any and all claims for any amount previously accrued but not yet disbursed. "

One of my downline emailed me and asked "how will we know that there has been a technical difficulty, they could set our account back to 0 and we would never know"

He is absolutely right.
So I thought I would see if anyone has actually been paid?

Well To be honest,

You should not have join Greenhorse in the first place. How can you trust a program that pays 1c/hr and still have a cashout of $$$90!!.

Join Degoo, its better. It pays and its payout is $15 and it pays 1.5c/hr

Well, I was looking more at the referral payments and as I am connected to the internet at least 18 hours a day, I thought it's better than nothing.

I haven't heard of Degoo, can you tell me about it or give me a url to have a look please?

What he/she said plus I have seen many post on the forum about the large amouth of spy wear that green horse dumbs on your computer.

yes dont like greenhorse must go and unsub myself cant run the ticker bar as it uses my computer to send mass emails all over the place have had to turn it off have emailed them and no reply they never reply

I'm curious as to how you figured that mass emails were sent from your computer and how you found out that it was GreenHorse.

When do I get paid?
Commissions are paid within 60 days after the following month where monies where requested. You may request a check anytime after you have accumulated $50 or more for (US residents) or $90 or more for (non US residents).

I remember when THE PEER came out and this same arguments came up but I've earned alot with them.

As far as the technical problems and setting you back to zero ... well I've seen sites that claimed to be hacked do the same thing only they never wrote this out in their terms.

I just sent an email to them and I'll let you know if I get a response.

Time will tell if they are a scam or not. I'm hoping that they aren't.

Just download a news ticker and you will be paid upto 24 cents a day just for being online. Easy isn't it.

Well it would be if that was all you downloaded, but along with the Ticker bar you also appear to get an uninvited guest.

Well actually it isn't quite uninvited, if you read the terms (and between the lines) you will find you gave them authority to do virtually anything they wanted to without ever having to seek further permission.
Not only that but you also accepted full responsibility for THEIR actions.

If you have you're AV set to scan outgoing emails you may have noticed it has been very busy sending out messages.
You may have even spent hours trying to locate that illusive virus that just seems to avoid all efforts to detect.

Switch of the ticker and guess what, the mail stops, switch it on and it starts again, FREAKY HUH? Better still, it uses your email address so if there are any complaints about spam it all traces back to you.

So how do you stop this SPAM, just turn off the ticker bar.

This message relates to the Ticker bar downloaded from Greenhorse.com only and in no way implies that any other Ticker is suspect (unless you know better)

I have been using TickerBar for what seems an eternity and I have only accumulated $9.47.

The mass mailing idea may not be so far-fetched, that could have been the cause of the recent problem I had where I blamed a mimail/sobig virus and none of the removal tools or NAV could detect it, although the outgoig emails were blocked by Norton Firewall

Time to lose Greenhorse, thinks. Does anyone have URL/referral link for another, more reliable Bar? A similar one would be good, one you can leave alone and let it work for you. I have a Degoo account, but have found it too time consuming as you have to keep clicking to keep it alive.

well as for how did i know it was sending mass emails that could have something to do with nortons scanning hundreds of emails at a time one day when i came back to my computer after dropping the kids at school

I rebuilt my computer 4 times before i fianlly started installing one thing at a time and bingo as soon as i installed the tickerbar it started sending mass emails when i switched it off it stopped when i started it up again it started again so thats how i know it was the tickerbar

and as for an answer to your email dont hold your breath I have sent them 6 emails in the last 6 weeks regarding no earnings last month due to there being an update in the tickerbar i was never notified about and i finally worked it out myself why i was not earning and i have sent them emails asking them to investigate this mass mailing problem they have with the tickerbar and again no answer

I also sent them several emails the month before for what i can no longer remember oh yes thats right the tickerbar sits up under the top of my screen so although i am running it and getting paid for it i cant see it at all so thats great for advertisers huh i cant see the ads well again no reply at all so now i have written to ask them to cancel my account as there is not a cancel button on the site even though it tells you how to unsubscribe but the section it tells you to go to doesnt exist so you tell me how can they be trusted if they cant answer a simple email

It wasn't that hard to do it was a process of elimination ...I watched leewright pull her hair out for days over this...and each time it came back to Greenhorses tickerbar....turn it on out went mass mails...

........and how did she know it was sending mass mails??? Because all her mail is scanned by Nortons as it goes out which brings up a scanning notice....answer your question???

if 10 vested members get me 1 dollar per month, then my 313 strong downline will enable me to earn 30 dollars a month and i should have cashed out twice......

guess what? my downline earning is 0. lol, what a waste of time. besides that, i haven't found a way to change my info or unsubscribe...

I have to say my Norton AV went mad this morning. I thought it had lost a "screw" somewhere.
Yes, I spent ages searching for a virus and any other thing that might be lurking!

I have emailed GreenHorse about this but I guess I won't get a reply.

I came to the conclusion that Green Horse and Nortons don't go well together but never thought emails were really being sent out.

My Norton started going crazy scanning out going mail and I couldn't figure out what was causing it because I wasn't sending any mail?
I tried scanning for viruses and everything else I could think of, but I couldn't find anything, so I turned off the e-mail scanning for out going mail, since I use AOL and it doesn't work on AOL?

I run across that site I mentioned above and didi a little testing.
As long as the Ticker was off, I had no problems with the mail?
As soon as I started the Ticker, Norton went crazy.

Maybe if enough people contact them about this, maybe someone will get a reply that they can post here?

Goodthing I quit this one. I could never get the bar to work correctly anyway. And the payout is ridiculous for the amount of money they pay per hour.
I wouldnt recommend Greenhorse to anyone.

Coins2Cash seems to be ok so far. It is listed in the downline builder.

I really appreciate the time you spent to answer that question. I'm not as smart about things like that ... I have Norton but I guess I don't have it configured right. Even if I do I wouldn't know what it meant.

I guess that is why I enjoy it here so much ... you get educated along the way.

I have been promoting this GreenHorse heavily. I'm going to have to pull all the advertising. Not to mention I feel like a "smacked one" for suggesting this program to anyone now that I know.

Agree.. same case with me.. ... 70+ downline and got 0 credit from my downline ... got my computer connected 12 hour a days to the internet.. got 0 credit .. .. try to change my profile and send some email..don't get an answer from them..

I read about coins2cash when I did a search on degoo, does the owner still post here? Have you noticed anything funny like with you AV or firewall?

at first i joined Cash Fiesta ()
i've also tried spedia and horizon surfer etc....

they all turned out to be SCAMS and i don't think
there's any paid-to-surf that is reliable enough these days.

I did a search for the Ticker bar and have read with interest all your comments. I have had it installed and running for an age and have earned quite a bit, not reached the payout level by any means.

The funny thing was that I had 4 referrals for an age, and earned about $10 but could not earn the bonuses cos you had to have at least 10 in your downline. But then lo and behold this past Friday I found that I had suddenly got over 300 in my downline! 60 of them in one day!

Then yesterday and today the Stats webpage is unavailable Weird coincidence or what?

Will keep an eye on it and let you know my progress, because an interesting point is that you get $10 a month once you have got over 10 referrals which makes payout minimum look more acheivable!

BTB Check out http://www.gptboycott.com/ they have been warning about CashFiesta and Spedia for ages, and I find Degoo very intrusive cos you keep on having to click thingies to earn any decent points. No give me Cashsurfer every time, it pays! Good luck and happy surfing

i had the greenhorse ticketbar installed and earned about 40$ and a few people in my downline and then new years came and all my funds were reset back to zero for the new year and got no payout at all

I also was using the ticker bar. My Norton kept sending out emails constantly. After I read some info on this forum about them I got rid of the bar. I have never figured out how to unsub and they won't answer emails. Too bad the right person doesn't do something to get them shut down. SCAM.
