For all I know, this will get me bounced from Money List.

I signed up for Money List because a webmaster I trusted recommended it to her membership. Money List claims to be designed to help PTR people make more money doing PTR and spend less time doing so (only 30-60 minutes per week).

First off, I was disturbed by being told by Money List that I had to have a Yahoo or Hotmail account to deal with them! (I've seen an awfully large selection of complaints about both failing to deliver emails!) But, okay, I already HAD a yahoo account, so I'm using it.

Then they tell me to DOWNLOAD my paid emails, cause I can read and click on them faster that way. Say what? The last time I looked, if I want to click on a link, I darn well HAVE to be online!

Finally, today's letter. I quote verbatim from Money Mail #4 (Day 8):

"..., even if you are already registered at a particular GPTRE site then you should unregister there and then you should click on the link to register again under your sponsor-member. This sacrifice of 10$-20$ and 5-10 people in your current downilne is nothing compared to what you are going to get from your MoneyList e-project! If you know who the people in your current downline are, you can always get them back under you through MoneyList.

Every member of MoneyList cares for his/her upline, that is one of the reasons why it has been so successful. You must care for your upline as much you expect your downline to care for you. Read the special note at the end for details if you are already registered at some GPTRE sites listed in the links-list."

Skipping down the letter:

"We do not prepare our own list so please do not ask for our list, the MoneyList approved GRPTRE websites' links are communicated by members only, we only check whether they have kept their list updated with our database or not."

Now, their SPECIAL NOTE:

"You are required to unregister immediately ONLY at the GPTRE sites which are listed in the Links-List and where you are already a member. This is to ensure that sign-up under your MoneyList Sponsor-Member only using the links-list which you have obtained (as and when the time comes to register there). If you do this for the sake of your sponsor-member then only can you expect your downline members to do the same for you.

If you feel that your current downline/account balance is too huge to sacrifice then send us an email ... specifying your account details ... at the GPTRE sites whose current membership you do not wish to sacrifice. We will investigate into the matter and if the numbers involved are substantial we will allow you to maintain your current membership at that site. However, please do not expect us to do this for figures that are not substantial [less than 15 people in the downline and less than $20 account balance (not counting the sign-up bonus) will not even be considered]. ..."

Now, their links-list. This list contains 18 links, 11 of which I am already a member of. Now, note the requirements for an exception. I happen to know for a current fact that, of those 11, 10 of them have payouts of under $20 in the first place! Again, say what?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'll keep my hard-won earnings of almost $4 with Mec-Co-Op and Max Cash 4U and nearly $3 with Copper Coins and finish my payouts (with the 0 referrals I presently have and any I can acquire by my own REAL efforts, rather than pee them away to build someone else's downline!

Update folks!

MoneyList has now sent out a follow-up stating "I would like to clarify that it was only a suggestion adn not a rule. If you do not want to leave your existing memberships then it is your decision, you will be able to promote your existing memberships through MoneyList."

If you read my previous posting, you know darn well it wasn't a "suggestion", but since they're recanting ...

Well, I'll stick with it just to try and to see what other stupid stunts they pull. So maybe I'll have more to say later.

HAGO!

No thanks....

I don't want to treat my gptr programs as 'stock' portofolios...
