I need to change some specifications on my pay to read email program. Can I change the specifications in the admin panel or do i have to use a ftp. If I need a ftp, how do I do it.

Few questions...

What scripts do you have?

What are you trying to change?

the script is from myptr site

I want to change what percent of people earn by their downline on each level on the homepage and stuff like that

Well with CC Scripts all you have to do is log into the admin

Click: Commission Settings

Then just scroll down t o where is says "Set the percentage amount you would like to credit uplines when their downline clicks on an ad"

and change the numbers to what you want...

Dunno if that help any at all....

I don't know about your particular scripts, but you will most likely need to make the change in the admin area, and with ftp.

In the admin area, you tell the scripts what to do. If you have the admin area set to 20% 1st level, it should automatically take care of it. The ftp is used to edit your actual site content, such as the text on your pages (terms, advertising, index, etc.)

I use CuteFTP. I believe I got it from www.shareware.com for a 30 day free trial, then bought it for about $35. I don't know if it is still there. You can go to www.globalscape.com and get it directly. They do have an inexpensive way you can try it, for $.99 I think. You should have an ftp id and password, and will enter this into the ftp editor. The page you would edit for your main site info (such as listing your percentages, bonuses, etc.) will probably have index in the title of it.

Good luck!
