Could someone please tell me what all is involved in starting your own get paid to read email site? What type of software do you have to have to monitor the clicks? We're seriously thinking about making our site to pay people for email.

CAC script is the cheapest to run. I suggest a CAC site. But I just warn you that it is not easy to turn in a profit. So far I am just break even and gain some publicity for some of my other sites only.

Do you remember the emailswift.com? Their script looks very nice. If you can wait, watchout when emailfolks.com start the auction in ebay.

So it isn't a good idea to make a little extra cash?

just to let you know i doubt that CAC scripts are cheapest to run. I personally know that are tracking is signifigantly lower than that of a CAC

Any of you people that run your own Get Paid site need any help? We're on the internet all the time and have alot of time that we aren't doing anything at all, and we would like to earn some money to start our own some day :smile: . Or would anyone like to go in with and create one as partners?

For CAC site, you just need to pay once and you take control of the whole site. The only cost of running is the hosting cost, which could be less than $10 a month. If you use some tracking service, you are then permanently depends on them. They can raise the price for the service and you still need to stick with them. In case the tracking company went bankrupt, you site come to an end.

Partnership will be a good idea. :smile: I didn't mean that I am interested to join, but partnership could reduce the business risk involve and share the workload.

If we do decide to go with CAC, can you design the website pages and send the pages to them and let them apply the scripts to it?

You can. Actually CAC scripts make use of a header and footer file and apply it on every displayed page. All you need to do is to create the header and footer file and upload it to the server.
