The following email was sent out by the owner today

It also included a long list of the email adderesses of every member that they have ever paid (list not included for privacy reasons).

They listed 177 email adderesses.

I received 10+ spam emails today because of their stupidity

TODAY I DELETED ALL ( 30 DAYS ) INACTIVE
ACCOUNTS.

If you think I'm a thief and cheating you can do
the following:

1. DELETED YOUR ACCOUNT.

2. PUT COMPLAINS IN TO THE GETPAIDFORUM.

3. SEND ME EMAILS AND WISH ME DEAD.

4. CALL THE POLICE.

5. SEND YOUR COMPLAINS TO PAYPAL AND STORMPAY.

6. TELL ALL WEBMASTERS THAT THEY NOT ACCEPT MY
ADVERTISEMENTS BECAUSE I'M CHEATING.

BUT DON'T SEND ME EMAILS WITH THIS KIND OF
STUPPID TREADMENTS.

ANY MEMBER WHO HARASSES ME, STRIPS MY REPLIES
INTO SLANDER, OR SENDS ME PSYCHOTIC DEATH THREATS
OVER 27 CENTS EARNINGS. WILL BE DELETED AND
REPORTED TO PAYPAL/STORMPAY AND TO THE POLICE.

AND ALL OFF THIS I MUST ACCEPT BECAUSE I WANT TO
EARN SOME MONEY ON THE INTERNET.

and i;m lucky my email was not there. . . but i;m still angry!

What option have people left him with? He gets slammed left and right he cannot post here, for a reason I can't remember. People are redeaming more then once, I don't blame PO for fining for the behavior. You redeam then your wait acting like a spoilded child just slows it down for everyone. I disagree with him giving out the email address but like I said what choice have you left him with?

For one he could've just blocked out the email addresses, and just used user names instead for telling us who has been paid.

He VIOLATED his own terms about keeping member information private. And I wasn't happy when I saw that email. I just hope all those members whose emails were listed doesn't get barmbarded with spam now because if they do...WELL then they will know who gave EVERYONE their email addresses.

I agree wholeheartedly. What kind of moron is this guy??? He could have left the domain name out of the email addy, just like every other WM does. I wish people would use the brains God gave them sometimes

I got that email too. It's not right to post addresses without permission. Sure glad mine wasn't there. I'm going to drop this one IF I ever get paid, I've been waiting a long time!

i usually dont defend webmasters but i do have to speak up here. I have been paid when i request it within a week or so with no problems. I did not like the email address thing but sometimes we all do stupid things when we are trying to defend ourselves. I emailed him and he said he was so sorry to everyone that he was not thinking when he sent the email. I know stupidy happens I have preformed it many times myself. So i will not judge him unless it happens again. And then i will hunt him down and smash his keyboard

I got spam too from someone wanting me to join cashread so i turned them in to cashread and sent the email address to wim to see if he could find them in his program. And delete them from there too. Anyone who got that email and decides to spam me be forwarned i will come after you and cause you as may problems as i can. :ph34r:

Just a question but if he was so sorry why not tell his members that himself?

That i have not clue on that i just know the email he sent me when i emailed him with out getting all bent out of shape on him. I just told him next time use just our user names. Here is his email to me

Well at least you know who sent out your emails, some webmasters have been known to sell our email addresses.

I think a public apology is in order. That wasn't a nice thing to do and I would be upset, too.

Well, while I'm not too happy with this program owner at the present, I will give him his due. And would love it if he would just cash me out so I can unsub. That email wasn't the only rant he sent. He told people to write and ask to be cashed out if they didn't want to stay, and I did. AGAIN. SEVERAL TIMES. And still haven't rec'd payment. Sorry, just followed his instructions.

I have to say sorry to the members whose email address I put in an email. Last week I made a stupid mistake. I was so angry and also disappointed that I copy the wrong field into the email.

The first mail I found that morning was from a member who wishes me dead because I did not pay 27 cents trough StormPay. I send him an email that the minimum I can pay trough StormPay is $ 1.00 but he doesn?t believe me and call me a cheater and a thief and he hopes that when I get a car accident again it kills me. I pay him 1 dollar and hope he is happy now.

Than I get an email from a member who set vacation on 4 months than click one PTC and set vacation again on 4 months. I send him a mail that I will pay him en deleted his account. I do not will write to you his reaction on my mail, because you do not want to read this kind of things.

My reaction on all of this was that email I send to you. Yes I know that was a very Stupid mistake.

Maybe I?m in the wrong business. I must try to ignore that kind of people or quit this business.

If you are angry on me, I understand. Please let me know if you want deleted your account, so I can pay you first.

Things are happened and the only thing I can say is sorry and it will not happened again.

edited to add: While I'm not happy with the program, I would never wish ill happenings on anyone, and that wasn't right, no matter what way you look at it! This industry doesn't generate enough money in the world to wish harm upon people! We've already seen that one. People, for heaven's sake, PLEASE STOP THE THREATS! IT DOES NO ONE ANY GOOD AT ALL, AND COULD CAUSE DIRE CONSEQUENCES!!

I'm not a PO but I have recieved treating emails and been harassed by a person online. I reported him to his ISP and he lost his internet. If he continues to get such letter I may have to tell him how to trace an IP and report the person, that behavior is just not exceptable. If a person took a person to court over 27 cents they would be laught out of the court room if they made it that far and put on a judges cr*p list.

I hope once this blows over Wim will be able to speed up payments. PTC have been pretty good.
