Now, I have some real good news for you all! The payout of $50.00 is being reduced to $25.00! The old referral percentages of 15%/10%/5%/2%/1% are being upgraded to 25/20/15/10/5. This change will not be retroactive, but will be in place, no later that Monday, August 12th.
I must say I am amazed at the low click thru percentage for the program, but with such a high payout and low referral percentages; I am going to assume that is why. We are going to run the program as we do our other 2 sites, with member participation, input from the members, and payouts to the members. We are going to implement a few rules as I feel if you are really into making money, and building a referral base, they will not bother you a bit.
1) Bounced mail- we know what yahoo, aol and all the other can hold. If you are going to be on vacation, out of town, or circumstances arise where you feel your mail may bounce, send a letter to the Webmaster. Otherwise 3 strikes, your out! That may seem harsh and abrasive but again, if you?re into it, you can & will stay on top of it.
2) Inactive accounts- we have over 4400 members with almost 900 returned paid emails. And not even 700 clicks on a 5-cent paid email, which you folks have never seen in this program. So I am not going to start throwing big money at you! We will stick with 1/2 cent and 3/4 cent ads for a week to 10 days. At that point we evaluate who is clicking, and who is not. Those who are not are not helping the advertisers, if they are your referral they are not helping you, and they certainly aren't even helping themselves! With the payout cut in half, and the dramatic increase in referral percentages, if you want to make money, you are in the right place. Bottom line, if your not even clicking on at least 40% of the links, your in the wrong place as anything less than that, I consider unacceptable. We are all here to make money, you, the advertisers, and me if you don?t play, you get no pay!
