About a couple of months ago, someone was signing people up to join Cosmicwealth. What I mean is that it sounds like the same person who is doing it again. This is twice on Cosmicwealth that this happened to. Someone signed me up about two months ago to their program.

Hiya - Just so you know, not only did someone sign me up with Cosmic Wealth back on May 27, but lately they have signed me up twice with Earn With Paul with my AOL address and once with my Yahoo address. What was worse was that with one of these signups (I won't say which) they had gotten the signup confirmed with my ACTUAL password. I discovered that by trying to unsubscribe! When I went in and attempted to login (to delete myself) the ###### thing knew the password that I have used for several of my ptr accounts.
I have written Earn With Paul more than once. The first time they confirmed that they had unsubscribed me. However, they appeared to ignore my complaint that someone had signed me up without my consent or knowledge. I find this disturbing, as I cannot believe that they would NOT be interested in finding the culprit. How many others has he/she done this to?
I know that in the case of the Cosmic Wealth incident, I thought nothing of it, because I had signed up half-a-dozen companies that day and thought that (perhaps) I had failed to jot down my signup with them. Now, though, I wonder who did it for me?
Given due consideration, either someone has hacked my computer, or some person with doubtful ethics who is a webmaster (or programmer for webmasters) has been accessing databases and using the info to have a little fun (and profit) and our expense and effort --- especially when you consider the number of programs that pay out with minimal effort on a given person's part if they have plenty of "referrals".
I just hope whoever is pulling this gets caught. I would MUCH rather be a randomly placed referral for full/gold/whatever members, than a stolen referral!

The reason that someone signed you up using your password is because they have access to your account on another program - because the persons doing this are program owners.
There are 2 program owners that are doing this have a look at the Cosmic Wealth threads on the MyEcom forum and it will give you an idea.
Also have a look at the threads in this forum about the owner of The Moneys In The Mail.

I guess I'll go delete my account with Cosmic Wealth now that I know someone else is signing me up.

I also was signed up for cosmic wealth. I received an email to confirm over the weekend and I know I didnt sign up for it as I was working all weekend. I went and unsubscribed my email addy from them. And I cancelled my membership with them once before a couple of months ago because they were only sending search emails so why would I sign up for them again??
I hope that they catch whoever is doing this. I receive way more emails than I probably need.
I guess it is time I go through and change all my passwords.

We are really sorry that such things are happening but recently we had a lot of "affiliates" mostly from Eastern Europe and China that are "signing up" without authorization their downlines. We think the new software from create-a-click will prevent that - there are no auto sign ups anymore.
Whoever is hurt...well can let us know or delete yourself from our main page:
-click on Members
- enter your Email address
- Action: unsubscribe
We are trying to delete you also as soon as complains are emailed to us.
And for sure such spammers will not see our system anymore - permanently banned !

Yes indeed, and you are one of the few that is responsible for signing members up to programs without that persons authority.
You are the one that is telling many people how to do this.
You are the one that deleted genuine posts from your Ozconsortium message boards because you try to hide the truth.
You are the one that is using your TMITE membership list to sign people up to other programs.
We've had this many times before and every time you post this kind of rubbish you will find there are others that will reply like me.
And Cosmic - why is it that whenever members write to you to ask who signed them up you have already deleted the details. Why don't you make us aware who else is doing this instead of hiding them?
I already have a list of 3 people who are doing it.

In response to your Forum Post - my questions are in the Italics.
Quote Emails For Money
You are abusing your membership list and cheating
Please explain to me how I used the membership list that I have at MITE in form of cheating?
And the worst thing is you are showing others how to do it.
Yes, I did show everybody what webmasters of programs are doing and what these webmasters will continue to do. Cosmic Wealth and Earn With Paul webmasters are doing exactly the system that I stated. I did not use this system as the webmaster of MITE, I have and will not use this system when I have control of such programs, call it insider trading, for the purpose of this argument - I have watched other webmasters use this system.
Yet you say you don't endorse cheating. What rubbish!
I do not endorse cheating , and I EXTREMLY do not endorse the webmaster cheating which I have argued from Day One. If webmasters obtain there referrals "legally" via Paid Advertisements in there own program(s) then fine, go for it. But, I have successfully proven that there are webmasters who use these methods, once again referring to Cosmic Wealth and Earn With Paul.
You are a cheat.
What you two guys are confused in understanding is the basis of my argument. I have presented a sample document below - and take in to consideration:
* that this post contains the basis of my arguement but comes from me, the member, not me, the webmaster.
* that this is the basis of my arguement from Day One BEFORE I WAS A WEBMASTER, and,
* that this is posted in the Get Paid Forum, and not my forum.

Webmasters Cheating. 10th May 2002
It has come to my attention that webmasters of certain programs are not using the desired methods of referring members to new programs via New Program Notifications - but via means of accessing there database and inserting it in under there downlines. With the emergence of new programs popping up daily - webmasters have formed a syndicate to gather as much Tier 1 Referrals as they can.
The question is - if webmasters can do it - why can not basic members like us do it. If basic members created a system as advanced as this - there accounts would be deleted, yet with webmasters, anything goes.
For members to fight this injustice that the webmasters are creating on us, I ask all members to do the same. Why not? According to these webmasters - its perfectly OK.
***************
So yet again, if I posted that in the Get Paid Forum as a concerned member - what reaction would I have received. It is only because I am a fellow webmaster that I have received the treatment that I have received, but I also like a good argument.

In reply to this message.
Yes indeed, and you are one of the few that is responsible for signing members up to programs without that persons authority.
I call on all webmasters of programs launched from April 5th 2002 to check there User Data and match my IP Address with any pending member in my downline. Username: youngrepublican2001@hotmail.com
You are the one that is telling many people how to do this.
I have told my former MITE Forum Members, because I believe they have the right to know. If the problems with accounts are the webmasters of Cosmic Wealth and Earn With Pauls fault, and other webmasters - why should that knowledge be banned from normal members? Do I not have a point here. This same discussion appeared in my forum some 4-5 months ago, and 1 person believed me, WELL GUESS WHAT - ITS HAPPENING - AND NOW EVERYBODY IS LISTENING!
You are the one that deleted genuine posts from your Ozconsortium message boards because you try to hide the truth.
[i]This answer is three fold. One - the forum at MITE was closed and move to the Oz site - I lost all of the data. As you have seen yourself. This previous forum hosting pre topic posts. Two - after you had a cry to Frank - he emailled me and informed me to take down the information - as is described in the post which is still there. Three - the reason why I deleted your post - is the same reason why the admin from this forum would delete the post if I posted such a reply in this section.
You are the one that is using your TMITE membership list to sign people up to other programs.
I have never used my MITE Membership list to sign people up with other programs - give me facts - not speculation - furthermore - as stated above, I call on all webmasters of programs launched from April 5th 2002 (MITE's launch - with me in control) to check there User Data and match my IP Address with any pending member in my downline. Username: youngrepublican2001@hotmail.com
We've had this many times before and every time you post this kind of rubbish you will find there are others that will reply like me.
After reading the above statement for the third time, I understand it. I suppose I can cop a heap of flack again, but my statement will remain - why is there a double standard in the GPTRE Industry where webmasters cheat and members get punished?
And Cosmic - why is it that whenever members write to you to ask who signed them up you have already deleted the details. Why don't you make us aware who else is doing this instead of hiding them?
The reason is because Cosmic is signing the members up himself - and along with Earn With Paul.
I already have a list of 3 people who are doing it.
Name them - I have named mine - you name yours

HI,
This is TOM a real webmaster of Cosmicwealth.com - not someone that likes to pretend to be me and also posting here and there.
Yes - we have had (and still have) some problems with unauthorized signups and whoever requested a down (or upline) we gave them IP's in a private email. We have investigated those scammers and it is one similiar procedure all the time:
1.) Somebody signs with up using usually high anonymous proxy and creates an account. Even if we trace the IP means nothing.
2.) Unauthorized signs up like 100 or some (not too many that would be too suspicious...)
3.) He/she is waiting. If nobody complains.... Sometimes it doesn't.
4.) Downline is created and when first $ starts to come in he/she easily changes account info.
5.) Same procedure if they sign up as their own downline and all the combinations in between...
To blame me as webmaster that I am signing up is more than enough. You have no proof on that and I am not doing it !
Why is Cosmicwealth such a target for spammers/scammer: easy answer. We are having long term contracts with search engines and are sending paid emails on a daily basis. Not just once in a while like some (no names & blames please....) trying to send something once in a while.
And we pay. Every request so far has been paid promptly - we have only limited it on a weekly $10.00 per email. Security reason because our Paypal account has been a target too...
And we are still continuing to give out a Neopoint 1000 web cell phone on a weekly basis (value $300 !) to our dear affiliates.
Best regards from Chicago !

cosmic, a lot of us are webmasters or someone who helps webmasters out who are getting signed up. We all would like to know who is doing this so that we can see if that person or persons are in the system in these programs. If webmasters do not tell each other to watch out for these cheaters? How do the other webmasters know that the cheaters are in their program?

And please Emails For Money, when did I take one members email address and put it in my downline using my MITE Database. What I did do with my MITE Database, is inform them that this scam is going on.
I have told you hundreds of times, literally, that this is a black and white issue.
Webmasters of
OTHER programs are using there database to sign up people.
I am the webmaster of MITE - and have never used my database, yet, I get the blame, why?
Because I was the one that broke this story of
webmasters cheating members out of referrals

I received one from email form paul and he had cosmic on it. I also was trying to figure out when i joined. I think what we have here - is when we enroll in one program and this indivdual starts another program. They grab our email adresses and keep going with it until we sign up or write and tell them to knock it off. There are plenty of people on the internet - so as the saying goes "THE WORLD IS YOUR(THERE) OYSTER"!

If CosmicWealth is having this sort of problem constantly why aren't the authorities involved?
I know one thing if I have one more confirmation email I will go to the authorities myself. This has to stop once and for all.
Afterall it IS spam and an invasion of our privacy, in the UK we are very strict on this type of thing.
You say they are targeting CosmicWealth because you send out links daily ..... ALOT of GPTR and GPTS do, especially the older established ones.
It's not as if the referral earnings are any better than any other GPTS and to be honest I REALLY don't think the phone is the crunch either.
