I have received some payments from FastCashEmail that are
underpaid.
1st time it happened...
6/15/02
21:00 Payment Received 6761080 Gold +0.210470 359887 67.14 USD 319.00
From: Christopher's E-Gold Account
Memo: FastCashEmail Payout
But in my acct, he removed an extra $1:
E-Gold Payout - 6/15/2002 $-68.1400
2nd time it happened...
7/21/02
18:22 Payment Received 7189327 Gold +0.030874 359887 10.00 USD 323.90
From: Christopher's E-Gold Account
Memo: FastCashEmail Payout
And according to his new rules, he can now just "steal"
members earnings if over $10 in balance...E-Gold Payout $-17.6766
Ive already been ripped of for $8.68 in just over
1 month. This is wrong, I cant believe he hasnt caused
a scandal regarding this newly imposed rule.
I even click all my links, but sometimes because of how many
referrals I have, my acct gets high fast and I dont login
constantly, I have work to do.
Shame, shame.

I'd say the majority of the webmasters here have lots of work to do too, thats why some keep a database, of logins, dates, amounts, totals, etc.
The $10 rule I understand, because he pays in egold, and someone could end up saving up a huge amount in their account, causing a big problem come pay day.
BTW, Chris is on a 3 week vacation, so he may not respond to this straight away.
Correct me if i'm wrong, since I am not much of an egold user, but couldnt that $1 discrepancy that you claim be the egold transaction fee? at 2 or 3%, if thats the case, doesnt that account for that missing dollar?
MulahMail
Aug 1 2002, 01:53 AM
Nope, it wasnt the egold fee...
the egold fee comes after the initial spend in a separate transaction:
6/15/02
21:00 Payment Received 6761080 Gold +0.210470 359887 67.14 USD 319.00
From: Christopher's E-Gold Account
Memo: FastCashEmail Payout
6/15/02
21:00 Payment Receive Fee 6761080 Gold -0.001567 0.50 USD 319.00

well - guys, even though I owe you $18, Im only paying you $10.
Yea ok !?!

I checked it out, big downline, you're probably best putting a note on your monitor telling you to login every friday/saturday or whenever.

Actually I do only pay the $10...but the other $8 gets left in the
members acct until they redeem again.
If a member cashes out $5 of their balance, they get $5
same with $10...but I always leave the extra amount in the
acct. Wouldnt this be more suitable??

Not yet, but will. I just found the errors tonight after viewing

I also felt it necessary to post because I wondered if others have
been underpaid as well; in addition to this new "rule" being ate up.

Ok well I have been handling the support email and no other indiscrepencies have been brought to my attention. Since I have only just been told about it, I have corrected it.
As for the second transaction, in my own opinion, he notified all members beforehand, and people are cashing before hitting $10. If he was underhanded, he would have gone and looted everyones accounts straight after sending out the update.
Whether or not I agree with the terms, as a webmaster and a member, I must respect those rules. I'd probably be very ticked off if I earned $100 and lost $90, but I was warned by the service update.

Yet? I learned not to jump to conclusions, gets very messy if you turn out wrong
Whether or not the rule is right/wrong, it was a solution to keeping redemptions running smooth. Putting in a rule like that, does not make him underhanded, someone who is underhanded is someone who is not upfront, or has a hidden agenda. If you put your payment request in before his 3 weeks vacation is up if your balance is high enough, i'll make sure its paid.
Alot of us have lifes offline, I personally hate having to click tons of paid email, but I understand the reasons behind it. There is always going to be a negative point to any company.

Somehow, I have to disagree considering he put a
"Boycott" at your DBE forum against MulahMail
with absolutely no reason. Which btw is pretty
freakin' dumb considering how much money my
members make AND GET PAID for participation.
Yes I seen it before you made members login.
Also, I no longer own ProfitEasy, so you yourself
should take down your boycott of it as well.
How pathetic.
hmmm...no login anymore? couldve swore there

Chris say's Im a rude webmaster - hah

Wayne
Aug 1 2002, 03:46 AM
Well this was about your support problem, not about my company.
I have lots more work to do than I used to have, so I have lots of moderators, and if members want to have a forum section, I approve it. If they list someone, it is not done by my request. These people are capable of thinking for themselves and do not need me to babysit them.
Whether you see anything in there or not, it doesnt concern me, you have a right to go in and post a response if you feel its wrong but I wont be involved in the argument, its not my fight. People jumped on you when you made your program changes, but what you do with your company is entirely up to you, as a webmaster I respect that each webmaster can make changes to their own program. So I understand that part.
The reason that you were listed for boycott by members was because they considered you rude, they did not say that you were a scam. If you do not own that place anymore, then it should be removed, but its not my place to tell my members what they can or cant do. Whether or not you called me, or the forum pathetic, you're entitled to your own opinion, but I do not have the time to persue boycotts, or keep up with boycotts. When you were arguing with the other webmasters, granted, it was your right to change the program, but it was a fight that appeared publicly, and when the public see these fights, they draw their own conclusions. Its not my boycott.
I don't have the time for personal vendetta's, paybacks, crusades, or whatever you want to call them. Right now my only goal is to get the funds, so I can get to the USA for christmas. I wont get caught up in brawls, and I have no interest in keeping up with what you, or anyone else is up to.
What I will do, is make it known at the forum, that you have stated that you no longer own profiteasy, and I will suggest it be removed. Normally i'd tell people that have a problem, to take it up directly with them, but i'll do it anyway. If you want to make a comment in there, feel free, and no your posts wont be modified or deleted.
Why did you sell/get rid of profiteasy anyway? you dont have to answer that, but curious anyway.

Off topic...I sold ProfitEasy because I was informed by my
host that the site used so many server resources due to
all the mailings taking place and that it would eventually
need to be moved to a dedicated ip or something....
just didnt want the hassle of when that time would arrive.
A good online friend purchased it from me.

There was no mention prior, I did not add it to the list, they had their own reasons which I believe were listed.
As for hosting stay clear of burst.net, I couldnt recover DBE afterwards, and my PH site was damaged. I had to get new scripts, completely new. They hoofed me out because of the member tools.

Well here we go again.
Mulah - you posted stuff about someone you have a grudge against. You've posted it on forums without asking the person the reasons first.
Common decency would have been to contact Chris first before blasting your remarks on forums.
Then you complain about the way Chris has changed his terms - just the once - something you have done yourself many times on MulahMail.
Double standards I think.
Then you go off topic and have a dig at another person you have a grudge with which has nothing to do with this thread.
Is it what you come to this forum for? To have a blast once a month at those you don't like.
If so, why not go play somewhere else.
Wayne
Aug 1 2002, 07:50 AM
I'd probably be angry if someone did a public boycott against any of my sites, if it was down to a grudge, but as I explained, its a community, and I rarely get involved, and hopefully the record is straight on that. The support issue was dealt with, and i'll pass the word on in the forum since that site has changed hands, so everything should be sorted out now.
Its stupid to get caught up in brawls and going over history time and time again. I've moved on, I have a whole set of new problems, maybe we could all just have a truce or something.

I simply have my own opinion and feel I should be able to express

You seem to be the one with the problem, you jump down my
throat any chance you get. Im beginning to think its either
jealousy or because you feel inferior somehow and must try

Wayne...no grudge...I just wanted to set the record straight

Aug 2 2002, 06:19 AM
Ok, I made a post in the general boycott section saying that the site was under new ownership, and that I would appreciate it if they removed it. I would have edited/removed it myself but I couldnt find, unless it was cut-off date. If you manage to locate the link then i'll deal with it.
Then theres this fighting/arguing, we're going to end up bumping into each other occasionally online, so can't we just say truce and go our seperate ways? and just say peace? the issues were taken care off

Chris has a very fast payment response time, i've always been paid within 24 hours, so I doubt the wait would cause a dent in earnings, and if it did, I have no doubts at all, that he would pay the complete balance.
Since i'm helping a friend out, I have 8 sites to deal with, which is why I could not get to the redemption sooner, and if it had gone over being my fault, i'd have paid the additional myself.

Wayne
Aug 11 2002, 02:02 AM
Theres a reason for no emails at emailearners. Email Earners had not been fully converted to Cash Crusader scripts, and was mostly in the old CAC scripting. As you know, MyEcom had a hard disk failure recently, resulting in the loss of data. Before Chris went away, he had typed up, and saved all emails for me to send out. All I had to do, was access the mailer there, click send, exit, return, repeat the same the next day.
With the site not being converted, all of these presaved emails were lost, and I was unsure of what to do. I did not know the exact contents of these emails, and since the site isnt mine, its not my business to go creating paid emails without permission of the owner.
Also - To add to that, all email accounts on all 4 of chris's sites had their emails on forward, meaning they'd end up at my Paradise Hits site. After the hard disk failure, this was reserved, and accessing the email is next to impossible since some of the access codes are different to what I was given.
I hope that the explanation given above is understandable, there is an explanation to the myecom hard disk failure somewhere else in this forum.
Can you elaborate on the money being taken part?
