Hi guys,

I think Ive totally screwed up my PHP av.gif When you go to the site now theres all these error messages & nothing shows up. Can anyone recommend a good site to get info on basic PHP stuff? I got a lot of learning to do ai.gif

And if anyone could tell me how to fix my errors I have now, that would be appreciated too. The site is JunglePaidMail.com, take a look, its awful

There is a free downloadable program called winsyntax.
You can load the view of your site there, and look for errors.
This is NOT a "fix" -- only a way to find the error.

If you want "managed" PHP and MySql then you need a service.
Such services are not free and they do require strict Terms of Service.

With the chance of having this "edited so no one else can see," I will post the sit you might want to view:

Managed PHP + MySql Site Management

But, then, some Mod will probably "edit it" for fear of lost income. If not, look at Option 2. -- It's not cheap, It's not free. But it works like a Timex Clock, and you can do your job with conidence.

First open your global.php then change the path to be

/home/junglepa/public_html

Then to start learning some php

http://www.php.net/tut

Learn the manual is always the best place to check for help first, its not like many other things where google is your first choice.

For newbies I recommend learning some stuff from sites with examples, and basic tutorials.

The PHP Developers network has a few newbie friendly sites. Checkout http://www.phpdn.com and checkout the links down the side.

Moron, winsyntax is editor, with syntax highlighting, it won't help him with his current error.

For Editors I recommend VIM for Linux and Editplus for Windows.

Thans for the links Reduct, Ill check them out.

Anyone else got links? I wanna learn everything I can before opening this site.

Also, the scripts I am using are the CAC ones, anyone know any sites that are using these? I'd like to peek at some of their stuff if the owners would allow it.

BTW~ tis a "her" ty ae.gif
