A stupid question, but where do I find some info on how to add a picture under my name and then this signature which you all have in the end of your posts.

Hi,

You click on My Control in the menu above and then you'll see a menu on the left of your page.

There you'll have a mention to edit signature and to edit avatar, you can find avatars there if you don't have your own pic

you can also put a bigger photo in your personal profile by going to:
My Controls - Change Personal Photo (check out mine)

signature is not working.

go to where you edit your signature.
click <http://> button and type in your link
starts with <Http://~>. ENTER.
and then type in the name of the link like
your current sig: <Need to find something? Look here:>. ENTER.

it should work then.

I haad search drifter in sig but I noticed nobody else used in theirs soo I'll have to find something else to add. didn't want to delete what I had that was already working. With my luck I'd never get it to come back up

I know this is silly....but I am posting because I want to thank you all for informing all of us newbies how to do this.
