now i am not one to complain....much!

but i thought this was a little rude!

dragon clicks starts off...promising looking program...giving members 2 cents per referral.

all of a sudden, it gets changed to 1/2 cent per referral.

i would not have been too concerened, but the money already earned from referrals already gained were also affected and that referral bonus was reduced to a 1/4 of what it was! am.gif

now, i don't mind them changing it like i said, but i think it is just wrong to remove the already earned money because the webmaster decided it was "too much"!
Juliette
I wouldn't be overly happy either BUT if it means the program is sustained better in the long term..

so many sites go under because they can't live up to their promises and are to scared to change things as it might peeve off members..

so I guess what I'm saying is I can see both sides of this.. aj.gif

I agree. This is just yet another case of a PO that failed to plan. Either that, or it was a plan all along to cheat members like this...

Is it really that hard to think a bit and write down what you are going to do and how it will work before you start the program?
sinnyboy
i can see the owners view too - but it's not like there is 1,000 members or even 500 members. more like 200.

so that would be like $4 in referral payments - and that had to be removed to which is now $1. (estimate)

i mean - if you want the site to grow - insentives like this great. taking money away from members this early in the piece will leave a bad taste in their mouths!

Regardless of whether webmaster did it intentionally or not
and assuning it wasn't intentionally although dragon reputations
sucks to start with and even if anyone would pay me i wouldn't join
their programs just for the way they treat or mistreat their members.

Any change should be from now on and can't be placed backwords.
This is certainly valid complaint, just one of many about the dragon
team.

Why anyone bother to join them at all?

If it would be me..i tell you boys and girls..

The jigsaw.gimmemail..this is the kind of programs any active
and honest member should be looking for with webmasters that
can be example for others:))

Dragon's place is in the trash!!

I agree with you on this one. If this guy has been around the business awhile, he should know that paying that much for referral bonus is hard to do, especially with a new program's initial member rush like we've all seen. He should have started out with a smaller bonus and did his numbers better.

Oh well sorry for the mix up then.
I see dragon and skip..keep on going ae.gif

I believe all the points raised by Jigsaw are valid anyway.

Maybe this webmaster can give some answers..

looks like a decent program to me. although I signed up in the downline builder and that was all messed up, not the wm fault though.. I probably would have been a little upset to if i had built a downline and had the 2 cents for each and then all of a sudden it is reduced like that.. ref bonus should be low at the start and then once you get established and at like 1000 members raise it a little, and so on as the membership grows. Proably excited to get the program launched and didnt think things through right away aa.gif

lol me too! Anything that sounds even slightly like 'Dragone' gets immedately ignored by me. I automatically assumed it was another one from those rip-off merchants too when I saw it!

Here goes....time to explain myself

First off, I had to change it from 2 cents to 1/2 because, the site had grown way faster than I had anticipated and that really blew my mind. Because of this, I ended up oweing a lot more money than I though i was going to before i started.

I didn't want to take away the money from my members, but as a built in part of the script, as soon as I changed the bonus it recalculated all the referral bonuses that the members had.

To make up for all this, I am planning to host a lot of contests to the members through the week. I know I will not be able to please everyone again but I do hope that they understand.

I rather receive the complaints now about changing the referral bonus as you guys have done here than having it ten times worse later when I struggle to send out payments to my members.

Thanks for taking your time to read this and I hope that you personally can see this situation from my point of view. I know that you are all dissapointed, but this is a small sacrafice now which will save myself and the program for later.

This happens way way to much........everyone is in a hurry to start a site...no one figures out what things are going to cost.....they have no financial plan for One Month down the road, 2 months down the road...... Then tend to forget......that as membership grows....so does the cost of everything.....The expected advertisers to beat down thier door..

Anyone starting a new site needs to do some heavy reasearch first.
Have atleast a 6 Month Plan
Have the Cash on Hand to Cover ALL the bills for Aleast 2 months..Before You Open.
Yes its nice to have all 2 Cent links, etc...but you Need to do the MATH FIRST

When figuring out things such as ad prices... Remember the DOWNLINE %
dockkash
Yes, it does happen all to much, but until you run a PTR, or a PTC site and have to deal with all the cheaters trying to earn a penny here and there signing up false members then I'd have to say don't complain.
People on the internet (not all) are rude, chargebacks after they purchase advertising, spamming, and cheating PTC, and PTR sites as well as Autosurfers, its amazing to see this in people.
Just look around and see how many advertise Exit Cash Flow on autosurfers (this is against terms), or have pop-up ads when the terms say "NO POP-UPS", what can't people read english, or are they that desperate for a penny?
Folks wake-up if you cheat (causing changes in terms) your killing the honest person trying to make a "penny".
You Get what you put into a site
DON'T Cheat and you won't see changes, simple as that.
Read the rules, and if you can't "understand them" ask a 5 year old to explain them to you, thats basically who they are written for.

GO DRAGONCLICKS get more people to resign, more money for me.

ac.gif Dont feel bad until i read the info in this forum, i thought the exact thing as you ac.gif i feel the same way about the dragone team ac.gif they take forever to pay, if they pay at all, i finally got a payment from spideremails after about 2-3 months, and that stupid rule that you have to have at least 1 referral or you can't cash out, really sucks ah.gif
they are another one that changed their rules, i had been a member when all their sites first popped up on the internet, then they go and change their rules am.gif i do exactly like you, i see the name and immediately pass, no matter how good it looks ae.gif
no matter how much they give you for referral earnings,it could be 100% , its no good to you because you have to use it in their useless store, that has nothing i would be remotely interested in.... am.gif
i AGREE with you 150% ao.gif
BEWARE anyone getting involved with a dragone sites ae.gif
thanks and i hope you all have a great week aa.gif

ac.gif Well at least you are honest and you respond to your members concerns, Whether it be good or bad, I also thought you were a member of the Dragone team, ai.gif And because of that immediately skipped it, You might want to change your name cause alot of people feel this way about those people and your sites name is way too close to theirs, You could lose alot of real good potential members, Just because of your name ac.gif
I may even sign up, Now that I know that you are not related to the Dragone team ab.gif , I like your honesty and that you even responded, Alot of bad wm would run when they see anything remotely bad against their site ad.gif
Only someone who should be respected would come in to clear things up ai.gif
I completely understand your situation, Better to fix it now than not be able to pay your members later on, ai.gif , Its good that you are thinking that far ahead, lol ai.gif
I personally wish you continued success ai.gif
Thanks Starr be.gif ae.gif
