If you've read over at ISAAF, Paul has pointed out how a new site, www.scamreport.org is doing to its visitors exactly what they're selling as for protection. (http://isaaf.com/cgi-bin/forum/ikonboard.cgi?s=3d4615791682dce4;act=ST;f=4;t=1491;st=0)
Seems you can "buy" their seal of approval, and they "medate [sic]" disputes on people "loossing [sic]" money.
They have 3 levels of "complaint service" -- basic report, full report, and a detailed report -- all of which you have to pay them for.
The basic report is a WHOIS listing that anyone can obtain for FREE on their own instantly from network solutions. THey want $3 to do that for you.
The 2nd report costs twice as much and you get the WHOIS report PLUS they write to the program and "ask about it for you." (duh -- ever hear of the FAQ pages or the Terms?)
The BIG report costs 3 times as much and you get the WHOIS report PLUS they will "research complaints" on the requested company. Well guess what -- one of their reports was a DIRECT COPY AND PASTE from this site!
SCAM SCAM SCAM
Oh, and if you point out their illiteracy or ask why they charge for free things, they ban your IP address, block your email and keep your money.
Beware!
