i would like to know, what is the reasonable time frame for an item to be delivered after payment is made?

I bought a PTR site from an ebay page. The bidding ended on July 31st and i paid right away. Now its already August 14 and i hv not receive my script. Emails to the seller takes around 3-4 days to be replied.

Anyone else hving the same problem? Or any opinions out there?

wow. thats a long time! it should be between 3-5 days.

Personally I would email 1 last time see if there was a problem, then I would start complaining. Either give you your money back or deliver the item

5 days should of been plenty of time unless the seller specified different in the terms.

Hello, usually it shouldn't take over 24 hours, of course you should try and email that person that you purchased the item from.... if that doesn't work for some reason I would contact ebay and the payment processor that you used to pay the item with, I usually try to send out scripts time i recieve payment unless the person that purchased them has mailed the payment in then it if check would have to clear the bank before I mailed back the scripts on CD-Rom, If they purchased them thru paypal or the like then soon as I receive word from paypal that they have credited my account which if the payment was done via echeck could take just 4 days tops usually to clear the banks then I send them via email that day... this is usually how it works... I hope that this helps..

hmm. . .i hv to email the seller twice juz to ask for payment acknowledgement. and i've been emailing the seller after that, but each email takes a long time to get a reply and with unsatisfactory answer.

I already asked the seller not to install my script anywhere as i want to host it with another company but until now there's no reply. . . as usual.

I would email 1 more time with a deadline for contacting you with satisfactory results or to see if there is a problem with payment or something else. If no results I would start proceeding to try and get your money back through ebay or your payment system.

I agree...two weeks is along time to wait...

I would email them and if they do not respond or fix this problem I would file a NPS alert with ebay and a fraud complaint.

Also make sure that you make your emails request a read reciept.... if you have outlook express you go to tools then to request reciept, if im not mistaken... this way when they read the email that you send the system sends you an email letting you know that they have read the email and when the date I mead... this will show that you have tried to contact the person and that they haven't done anything to "fix" the problem or anything.

i emailed another successful biddder on the item and he'a hving the same problem. but he also said that the seller is usually very quick . . .

Perhaps there is some sort of problem on the seller's side that is causing the delay... No clue on that...

Upon payment and receipt of advert information, I get my auction winners taken care of same day, if not early the next day... Just seemed to me like the right thing to do, ya know? lol

The first thing you need to do, if you haven't already, is request your seller's contact information. Often, simply taking this step is enough to get a lazy/fraudulent seller in motion.

If that doesn't do it, go ahead and file a complaint with SafeHarbor. Even if you don't get any money back from this, you may be able to prevent this guy ripping off others.

Your seller has had more than enough time to get your scripts to you. The longer you wait to do something, the less likely you are to see your money again.

I was wondering the same thing, myself. I've seen a few auctions that do, but I think most sellers will send you a hard copy. First class mail usually takes around 3-6 days to get from here to there.

Your seller's reluctance to answer your e-mails makes me suspicious. It is not a good sign. Are they still selling scripts on eBay?

Every script I've bought or has been given to me either came by email, or I was emailed a download link.

Every script I've sold or given away, I have emailed to the recipient.

You should have received the script right after you paid for it. There is no valid reason for the delay.

ok. . here's the progress

actually, the description of the item was a new PTR site ready to launch any time. I juz ned to personalise the terms and members benefits my own way. But i dont think i want to host with the hosting company they're offering coz its so expensive and they hv been hving a lot of problem lately.

So, the day after the auction ended, i told her my choice of domain and whatever terms regarding member benefits that i could think of, thinking that the seller will need it to set up my site for me. Silly me!

After 2 weeks, the domain that i choose is still available. So that shows that no one is booking it for me. there goes one promise. Out of the blue, I registered the domain under my name, juz in case u know?

And as i already hv a hosting company in mind, that i got from recommendation of another good WM around, i emailed the seller telling that i already hv my domain and hosting company waiting for the script. And at this moment, i juz need the SCRIPT!!

The reply was : The seller hv not done this before and need to find out what to do.

SO??

I really dont understand!! So confused now, more than ever! Maybe this whole thing is not right from the beginning. . .who knows?

Maybe i shd ask for refund ehh?

This scripts have some issues too. Remember when I was talking about 2 friends and I taking over a program? Well it was Staci Clicks. It turned out that friend who sent the email to get the program for free decided she didn't need help and my other friend and I decided to do our own program (to which will still happen but not without the capital to start it up right). But we went through the program (staciclicks) with a newbie's eye and could still see the loop holes.

Staci said she gave away staciclicks because she couldn't handle it. The she said it was because it was a point program. Well she could have changed that---I don't know.

I am a member of Mrsrodgersneighborhood and was promised 5 referrals for signing by a certain time. I was under the impression that this would take a while and had complete faith in it until now. So do ya think we will see thos referrals??

I believe I know the other friend that you are referring too, if so yes I remember her telling me that she was supposed to help take a program over.... it doesn't take much to atleast start a program, it u just have to becare when gaining members and offer specials and be tight on the spending and know ppl... I run specials all the time with my scripts and hosting thru my company, its according to the type of scripts etc...



Yes there isn't any program that can't be modified to do whatever it is that the owner wants it to do... but to the best of my knowledge there isn't any program out there that is ONLY points... thats a load of bull dookie...lol. and that is why also that they posted the address as these two for contacts:

So, hmmmmm that tells me something right there doesn't it??? How could she sell a program yet still have email addressed to come to that program? The only way it makes sense is that there wasn't any sell and that someone is handing out "###### badges" to someone.... Not calling ANYONE a name by no means however, ppl do some checking around and protect yourself... that is the least ya can do.. you owe yourself that much... Also, help out the newbies... I have had several come to me and tell me that they have asked questions to others and got either "Buffed" or made to feel totally stupid because they didn't know or whatever.... heck remember everyone.... we were all newbies at one time..lol....



Hmmmmm its hard to say, but I tell ya what ... make sure you keep up with how long it takes it shouldn't take more than maybe a month at the longest to recieve a couple referrals and if you have purchased them you should know that they are saying that they already have the referrals on hand ready to be credited to the buyers account... specially if the advertisement states that they have them for sell... now use common sense.... would you actually purchase something but not get the product or service? Meaning that if you go to a store even if the item has to be delivered, you would protect yourself and get something in writing or ask alot of questions about whatever it is before your actual purchase right? So, why wouldn't you be just as cautious online? I'm not saying that anyone isn't using common sense or whatever, just take alittle time and use good judgement or atleast the best judgement that you can acording to the info that you can dig up about something... investagate and REMEMBER if it sounds too good to be true then it most likely IS! I'm just trying to help whoever wherever I can.. this is all that this is.... and maybe just maybe someone will be helped by my words here... I hate for ppl to get taken advantage of and this person I believe is or has taken advantage of these ppl here.... thank you!!!

As for the free referrals, I didn't buy them, it's something that Mrsrodgersneighborhood promised to everyone who resigned after the crash. And she has already sent an email saying it would be quite a while since there were so many people who were supposed to get those referrals.


As for not having much to start a program, we have lined up advertising to send out at least one ad everyday for a month. (and never run the same ad twice). I want enough capital to pay for the good CC scripts, a good site design as well have some operating capital to begin. I WILL not have my program tank. So I am going slowly, watching what others are doing and trying very hard to make sure to use the good and leave the bad ideas. Just wanted to clear up why we are taking longer.

its been more than 24 hours. . .and there's still no news from staci.

i need to ask other WM here, do all of u always go up to 5-6 days without checking your admin mail?

sorry i took so long to answer.

* i already emailed her asking for a refund, juz what i said the other day. and guess what? there;s no reply until NOW! and she's really getting on my nerves. I emailed her numerous times. . it was very polite at first. . then it was juz polite. . and now its not polite. . i do not want it to turn into nasty!

* apparently the other successsful bidder all hv the same problem. but the thing is. . i heard that she sends paidmail to her members. so how could she not read my mail? and not even one word of acknowledgement!

* i already filed for dispite thru Squaretrade.com and ebay. and she still not answering any email.

* i juz would like to know. . . any members of stacipays here that has juz gotten payout? LOL! maybe its my $$! this is maybe getting funny. . .

If it makes you feel any better, your probably better off to get your money back and start with CC scripts.

neha - i know somebody already said this but goto Ebay and request the contact info.

i've had some problems with sellers on Ebay and the thing that seemed to help the most was the seller realizing that Ebay had sent me all their personal info!

just try to get your money back, obviously this person cannot be trusted!!!

At last, staci contacted me. . the problem was she did not hv access to the internet coz of computer problems on her part. She agreed to a refund. . .and to make it up.. she gv me double refund! Thanx staci. It is much appreciated. She also said she;s sorry things did not went as planned...

so now, i'm happy again! no more stress!!
