I have made some major changes to the point redemptions. The new
redemptions are as follows:
Gold Membership Raffle Ticket - 400 points
5,000 Banner Impressions - 1,000 points
Gold Membership Raffle - 4 tickets for price of 3! - 1,200 points
10,000 Banner Impressions - 1,750 points
2,000 Click Point Email Ad - 1,500 points
Bonus Link - 2,000 points
25,000 Banner Impressions - 4,250 points
20 Point Email Ad to All Members - 5,000 points
Silver Membership - 6,000 points
Gold Membership - 15,000 points
I wanted to explain why I did this.
Let's take a Gold Membership Raffle Ticket as an example:
Before the point system, a member would receive emails earning 1 cent.
At that rate, you would have to click 100 emails to earn $1.00 for a
raffle ticket.
With the point system at 150 points for a raffle ticket, you would
click 10 emails x 15 points each = one raffle ticket.
See the difference? Clicking 10 links versus 100 links - a BIG
difference.
NOW a raffle ticket will cost 400 points. The point links will now
earn you 10 points instead of 15 points.
So, with the new rate: 40 clicks x 10 points = one raffle ticket.
Still a reduced rate compared to using your cash earnings, but more in
line with where it should be.
Also, I am giving away approx. one Gold Membership per day (I still
have a stack I need to draw names from!).
Hmmm, Gold Membership is $30 cash. Therefore I am giving away $30 in
profits per day!
I hope I don't tick too many of you off by the new changes, but I just
couldn't see the logic with continuing with the old point rates.
I hope all of you will understand why I did this!
Also, any of you that have still have pending redemptions - I will
honor them at the rate that was in effect at the time you requested the
redemption.
I hope this explains to you my reasoning for the new changes.
