although I am a member of Nitroclicks, I was never very active, so I can't comment on whether they are actually paying or not paying.

However, I did receive their announcement yesterday regarding the change in ownership, including the news on 'restricted countries'.

I have been wanting to join another program today, FineClicks. I noticed that my country was not listed (and in general the country list on the site is very 'exclusive), and upon inquiring with the owner, was informed by him that 'people from your country have been cheating. '

I believe that this is an alarming trend, and I believe that any programs or sites using such practices should simply not be promoted or signed up with.

If certain members are cheating, then those members should be banned from a program, not a whole community or nationality.

Just for info: I have copies of the relevant emails on file for both sitesNitroclicks and FineClicks.com for proof.

I would encourage everyone to post here any other programs that use these practices so that everyone who objects in general to such practice can refrain from joining these programs or cancel their account.

Chet who owns http://www.fineclicks.com/ is a great guy. I understand why he banned a few countries. Guess you are going to quit all the GPTRE sites that are now banning members from cheating countries?

All the cheaters I have had on my sites have been from China and Korea. With my hosting site and other hosting places I have seen people from Russia and India are the frauders. With MEC all you have to do is join the chinese channel and see then cheating. In the last 2 days 4 have been either banned or deleted for cheating.

Is it our fault that they make more at simple online programs than they can make in a year at a real job? No. Maybe its tine they got rid of their governments and made their land FREE. Until they earn more at a JOB they will continue to CHEAT honest programs.

I'm happy to say that so far I haven't seen a program that would have banned Finland so I guess we still have pretty good reputation at gptr industry and I hope it stayes that way!!
I have never belonged to fineclicks but maby I should go now and check it out, Nitroclicks I unsubscribed because the 500$ payout limit seemed so unrealistic, don't even know why I joined it in the first place....
I know I still belong to few programs that I will propably never cash out during my lifetime ie. Cashread (500$), cash2read (not a single mail since I joined), Paidweb (200$), Get-Rich-With_Us (500$) and Jabbamail (399$), I should go through my mailbox and check all the places I have ID's to but that's such a huge job
I know we can never get rid of cheaters, that's a fact. No matter how many countries they ban but I can also understand how it feels like not to be able to join just because your country is banned because a majority of the cheats come from there! But this is too complicated for me to think at 5 am, better go and get some sleep, will see tomorrow what new answers this thread has gotten, maby I'm smarter then

Thank you for your input. Let me start by saying that I am new to this business. I own a website that has nothing at all to do with network marketing or get-paid-to programs, however, a few months ago I joined a certain program, which I believe is important to promote. Since then I digged into this market, and lately also opened a site regarding promotion and marketing support.

Sorry to say that I have seen encountered unusual rudeness and questionable practices in this get paid to ... market, with the latest banning of members from certain countries being another apalling trend.

I would suspect there are more people who find this alarming, even if they are not residents of 'banned' or 'restricted' countries. Also if you read my post, you know that my opinion is that there are no 'cheating countries', there are 'cheating members'.

When you run a site that gives incentives, be it money for sign up, credit hits, etc. it would unfortunately seem that many are tempted to cheat, which is a shame. However, and again, MEMBERS have to be banned, not COUNTRIES. Plus any such site has to have good software in place to make cheating as difficult as possible.

.. I guess he is ... He did not even have the courtesy to be polite or to explain. I have no idea how people cheat on his site anyway, as this is not a get-paid-for anything site. But he did not care to explain. His reply to my query was a one sentence email 'All members of your country have been cheating'.

I don't care not being able to sign up at his site (actually I could as I am also a resident of a country that is not banned), as I am member of sites like cj.com, or www.shareasale.com. However, IMHO this whole policy of banning certain countries is unethical and bad business practice.
