My huge Problem all the webmaster on Get pay to Read Email . I love to see they have added Inbox when you log in your account. The biggest complait I have to said I have 199 inbox message. I have to push 199 delete buttom one in time. It will take for me forever to do it. I think all the webmaster need created a script You don't have to delete one message one in time.

All I want a person have a option to delete has check mark like yahoo, hotmail and other.

Please fix this situation all Inbox.

Anyone in here agree with me. Since They are so many people join Get pay to read email daily. I hope they have option to have check mark in their inbox. We don't have to click every single delete buttom.

I agree with you, there should be an option to delete more than one at a time

Messages from your inbox on those sites you're talking about, are generally deleted when they are older than 15 days. So why bother deleting them yourself? If you read and click all the e-mails you receive in your regular inbox (of your e-mailprogram), you never have to take a look inside the mailboxes on the sites.....

I agree it's not a bad idea, but I don't personally consider it a very big deal because after 15 days the mails are automatically deleted anyway. Also, someone else on here pointed out (I think it was Lancer Sykera?) that if you just quickly click several "delete" buttons before the page refreshes, you can delete whole bunches of them at one time. I deleted 7 at a time or so from AYS today and got them all deleted in under a minute.

Still, I agree with you...it'd be nice if such a "delete everything" checkbox could be implemented without too much trouble.

You know what I would love about these inboxes? If you go on vacation, it would be great if the emails went to your inbox so you dont miss anything when you come back. They dont though ah.gif

This scripts are not made by the webmasters but from one individual who whould have to allow a mass upgrade to all webmasters. So asking them to make a change is useless

They're deleted after 15 days, why do you have to physically delete them?

You don't.

David hon, I have to say after reading so many of your complaints, you'd find a way to complain about a free lunch! Hehe!

It's not useless, they talk to that individual like you call him and he could implement it in the next upgrade ac.gif

I'd like to have them going in inbox when I go on vacation too ... thought it was like that ah.gif

For the delete more than one button ... if it's there is better, if it's not, I just let those mails go after 15 days if I have read them in my mailbox

I never deleted even 1 message from my inboxes, they delete themself after 15 days. And that is written and stated and clear. Read before you complain.

I must be spoiled being on cable. ae.gif Although having the option to delete all at once would be nice, it doesn't take me too awful long to go through them one by one. I like to do that anyway in case I happened to miss one in my mail or it didn't work. I had some from one program that, for some reason, kept timing out from my mailbox, but when I went to my inbox to try them, they worked just fine.

Why don't you ask the creators of the scripts GPTR-programs use to create such an option? I think that if it would exist, wm's would have already installed it.....

Perhaps instead of having check boxes, or maybe in addition to that, once a member deletes that email from their regular email account where they got the email, it would delete itself from their ptr account inbox too...

Just a thought... aa.gif

That would be almost impossible. There is no API for moving or deleting a message in Outlook, only reading.
in2travel
The inbox itself is a good idea, but how do you know which programs are only sending to your inbox or to your email account? Webmasters are changing the rules all of the time and it's hard to follow who is doing what. ao.gif
themom1955
or worse yet....you go to the site and have say 3 in your site inbox. Then you go to your personal mailbox where you have a filter set up to put the same emails in a folder.....thing is there are 7 in the folder....where did the other 4 go?? av.gif ah.gif so if you ONLY read on the site then you might be missing some....now if it were the other way around, I MIGHT think I'm bouncing emails---but have not heard from any PTR site that that is the case.

Does anyone else have this happening? Have it happening at more than one site too btw. ah.gif ao.gif aj.gif

I have a cable connection and I find this annoying. Usually if I have less then 20 in an inbox I will just delete them, but I have aone that says I have over 300, no way am I sitting there and deleting them one by one. Even though it does get deleted every 15 days or so, there is stil that many cause the site sends out a lot fo email everyday!

Hi.... Don't know that anyone ever addressed this issue anywhere else besides here or not, so I thought I would answer here, and if you happen to see in your cruising around the boards, anyone else posting about this problem of needed a "delete all" button for the GPT email onsite inbox, you can feel free to refer back to this post or quote me.

I am the Business Manager for CTBXOnline's Cocktails-n-Mails, and we use the CC script which has the onsite inbox in it. I agree with all of you that the inbox does need a delete all feature. I am on cable and it is still very annoying to have to sit there and manually click delete on every mail in the onsite inbox. Clay, the Webmaster of CNM has also realized this, as well as some of our CNM members suggesting that this feature be added to the CC script, and Clay has been in contact several times now with John, the script writer of the CC script, asking that this feature be added in a future update of the script. I know that John said he was working on adding this feature, however, I do not have a time frame on when this feature will be added to the inboxes of the sites that use the CC script. It has also been suggested that a choice be added to the script to allow members to CHOOSE exactly where they want their email, either on site in the inbox or in their regular email box at the address they sign up for that PTR program with. I know that this feature is also in the works as well and will hopefully be out soon in a future update of the CC script.

Just be patient! Just as people aren't perfect, scripts aren't always everything we want them to be... since the webmasters themselves BUY this script and use it to run their programs, its up the script writer to make additions to the script and send updates of them out to those that use that script. Feedback from members is important, and it helps the webmasters that use the CC script and I am sure, that use other scripts, have a better feel for what their members would like to see added to the script. I know that Clay has passed along several ideas to John about things he and some of our members would like to see added to the script. I have heard more than one person discuss the script needing the delete all feature in there, as well as adding the choice in there to allow the members to select exactly where they want to receive their email, either on site or in the email inbox at their email address. I believe that both will be great enhancements to the CC script and will give the members of the programs that use the CC script more control over their onsite inbox and will give them the choice on where they want to receive their email.

Didn't mean to get so long winded, but just wanted to post and let you all know that I do know that these two things are in the works for those who are on the sites using the CC script!

The script writers could have saved everyone some time if they had done some sort of "what do you think about this feature as a possible upgrade "in the forums so they would have known to add the delete all or opt to not send to email account built in to begin with. The Inbox just appeared in the programs where I have seen it with no notice at all (e.g Mikes recently added it and I have been a member there for close to a year). Personally, I would like both of those as an option. Including possibly an actual email if my online inbox has say more than 50 items in it (that is a hey did you forget we do not send email anymore and forgot to login to check it reminder).

As we can tell, there is no shortage of opinion here. ad.gif be.gif

I love the inboxes.....I download my mail thru a program called Mailwasher and "delete" the emails from sites with inboxes along with all my junk mail...then I cruise on over to my sites with inboxes....this way I don't have my mailboxes fill up and secondly the emails actually load faster from the inboxes....which for someone like me on dial up is GREAT....
