Hi,
I can't speak for everyone, and I am not exactly sure what you are saying, but are you refering to when you change your email address with companies?

I know with my companies, when you change your email address, your username stays the same (it's embedded when you sign-up), so although you get your mails sent to your new address you still need to use your original address in your referral link and to login and to be credited for clicking through the links etc.

It can cause problems sometimes as when members request payment it's their username that comes up - but if the webmaster is doing their job and checking the account then they usually spot it (though I admit myself that I have missed the change once or twice).

Sorry if I've got this all wrong, and sorry you've been having problems.

One question tho, how have you lost money on advertising? Was it that you changed your referral link? Just wondering.

that's what i mean wenn somebody request something they don't check anymore the account and just send it to the old e-mail adress or what you call log in name...with that i lost a lot of cash and advertising where i redeemed for. i lost it because they send me the cash to my old e-mail great don't exist anymore ore somebody else took it so....please people wenn somebody redeems for something check there account...i know you have a lt of requests and work but...it saves to more e-mails....lol

How would you lose it or someone take it? Use your ISP email and you shouldnt have a problem.

I think what they mean is when they change ISP e-mail addy the old one is still their user name ....... so in the case of when Jay'sPaid lost database I had previously changed e-mail address but when the back up was re-instated all mail went to my old one. Fortunately I hadn't changed providers. If I had they would either bounce or be in cyber space somewhere.

But now I can't change ISP's because I will lose out if anything happens to the database's of some GPTR's and in the case of Opt-inPays it sends confirmation of payment to your current email change if thats not your Paypal addy you can't process it the cash payment on your new email addy unless you open a new paypal account in the address.

You can have more than one email address registered with Paypal.........
