last time i checked to see if there were any available bonus links to click on there were more than 5.. now 1 hr later theyre all gone!!
why do they expire so quickly?
when people promote this page they say there are lots of .03 links. but thats not true! its very misleading.
how come there arent enough available links to go around?

There were 6 there when I went there 20 mins ago..all gone now! Luckily I got one...been awhile since I have!
They expire so quickly because people only buy small numbers of them and there are ALOT of people constantly checking to see if there are any. It's just like those nickel ads from Nickelsbyemail or others that are only a couple hundred clicks..gotta be fast and watching to get them!
If you got one earlier though...good job!!
Good Luck!

It's not that there aren't enough to go around... the strategy that Opt-In is trying to keep going is to allow as many members as possible to click. One an hour is rather frustrating, especially when there's plenty and you come back to none, but they're 3 cent links. Always 3 cents. One or two a month is okay with me, personally...

I've also noticed that someone will post that there are paying links up, I'll go there immediately, and there are none. BUT there are some that have say 189 hits, yet they are unavailable. I've seen other people post the same thing. I hope that was clear, lol. I think that sometimes they might target who gets the paying ones?

I've always wondered if even though there is a 1 click per hour limit, many people may not realize that and click the new ones in a row. Hence 1 person uses up the 3 cent payout, but does not get credit.
Try clicking a link with no credit and notice the counter goes up. The credits end after the clicks reach a certain amount.
Truly speculative, but certainly a possibility.

The 3 cent links you're talking about are bonuses and, as with all bonuses in life, you need a bit of luck to get them. Now I've done the maths on the website, assuming that all the information they give is true. They pay out 75% of their income to their members. You can purchase a link for $5 (not counting the special features, which do nothing for us). 75% of $5 is $3,75. That's the credit available for the link. Each click will deduct 3 cents from that credit. And 375 cents divided by 3 is 125. Which means that a $5 link will fund 125 paid clicks. After that, all clicks are unpaid. So it's very well possible that a link with only 150 clicks is unpaid. And since a lot of people constantly refersh the page to see if there are clicks, they'll probably be gone in a few minutes.

It is unfair to see Opt-in-Pays' 3 centers in this folder.
If you really want to know who is responsible for the 3 centers' going away, the answer is simple: the advertiser, and the member who clicks.
Of course, you cannot blame the advertiser for having not bought tons of credit to her/his links: it costs a lot to buy 3 centers.
Nor can you blame the member for clicking.
I agree with DutchECK that 3 cent links are bonus. If you catch one of them, it is great fun. Otherwise, ... well, it is just otherwise.

P.S.: If you want to catch more 3 cent links, you could try the forum's alert service (see "Paid to Click Alert" folder). It has helped me on many occasions.

I personally have had great luck picking up lots of 3 cent bounses...simply being a matter of being in the right place at the right time...yet I have gone weeks without getting one....so I also think it is unfair to have a complaint posted about them...the way I see it getting the links is like WM's sending limited click emails....the majority of the sites send these when it is the middle of the night here in Australia so by the time I get to them they have expired....

I know what you mean. I live in Holland, where the time difference with the US is 6 to 8 hours. So by the time I get to my mailbox, the limited links are already long gone.
