you will see the moneyexchange folder after you made 200 post but u have to be a member for 60 days before you can start exchanging in it.. hope this helps!

but........why do people want to exchange from one payment processor to another?

Because some places only allow you to get money one way and then you need to move the cash into your other account so that you can use it again to some other place/move to your bank account/ get a check etc.

ie. I don't have a working PayPal account so I get everything via e-gold, when I happen to need PayPal I go to the money exchange and ask someone who I know and trust to make the payment for me (whatever it is that I need) and then I repay him/her in e-gold. E-gold is harder to get so in exchange situations you are bound to pay more for e-gold than PayPal.

If so, how can I know whether the trader is a scammer or not (Umm....actually I'm new here and no friends on this forum,how can I trust others)?

Who transfers the money first is totally up to those two who are doing business at the moment.

With time you'll get to know a lot of other members, and as a great help for you and others there's a money exchange complaint folder where you can post if something goes wrong, naturally if you don't get your money back from the scammer it's not much of a consolation but it will help others! There's also a banned members list (member names, possible e-gold account numbers, paypal addresses that they use, names etc) which you should always check before you start to exchange with another member,

A good rule is also that it's very unlikely that a member who's been here for more than a year, has few thousands of posts will suddenly start to scam other members for their money!
