Hello!
I would like some input on best way to deal with bounced emails & users that never click ads.
Should I begin charging a *fine* for bounced emails or should I just give everyone a couple of warnings & begin deleting accounts? I really don't have the time to deal with sifting all the returned emails to find out who is bouncing more than once.
Also, what about users that never click on their own? Should I require that all users must have their own earnings before cashing out or making redemptions?
Any other suggestions for dealing with these problems would be great!

Set up your webmail so that the bounced emails go into oblivion. Much easier that way. I only get a couple, now, and I delete those accounts if it happens more than twice. Can't email them anyhow since their accounts are usually full.

I think everybody must be working along to make this a success. So you have to click on a regular base before you can cashout. I click all links, the cheap ones too.

I was just deleting them but I have been getting so many that I started going through them. I can't tell you how many cheaters I have found this way. They seem to always sign up with similar user names or on the same day but they must do it so much their email accounts fill up quickly.
I use Outlook Express. I set up a message rule to send all returned mail into a specific folder. I then set up a subfolder that I call Gone Through. What I do is just copy the user's email address and use find to see how many emails I have back from them. If it is only a few, I put all of them in the Gone Through folder that way if I get more from the same person I can tell how many and after ten I delete the account. I also delete pendings immediately if I get a bounced mail. I usually search in the user manager in the admin area the user's name also. That way I can see if any are similar.
Anyway, hope I didn't confuse anyone. I find it keeps an active member base and I find cheaters. I don't do it all the time just when I can.

Points2Cash deletes accounts which return e-mail the second time. I don't think that members should be penalized for not clicking on the
links.

For bounced emails, why not charge the user a fee, say 1 cent, and debit the account with such title, say "Bounced email 4/20/02". Also, at this time, reset the email field to null.
Later, you can do a search. For example, if you want to look through April, search for "Bounced email 4". Check if the user updated their email addy and if they haven't, delete them.
Of course, you would need to inform memers of this before proceeding..
On the topic of deleting inactive users - I consider myself a builder and probably do not click on as many links. Should I get deleted???
