hi everyone,
a lot of you PTRE-Program Owners changed the used scripts in the last time (some of you did it 2 times in only a few weeks!).
But most of you didn't notice, that with the new scripts also all referral-links for your members have been changed!
Right now, there are mostly 3 kind of scripts out there (and only a few other ).
They produce the following ref.links:
1. http://www.PROGRAM.com/cgi-bin/signup.cgi?r=MEMBER-Mail (this is the oldest Version from the CAC-Scripts!)
2. http://www.PROGRAM.com/pe/signup.php?r=MEMBER-Mail (i think, this one is offerd from MyECom)
3. http://www.PROGRAM.net/pages/index.php?refid=MEMBER-Mail (i think, this is also from MyECom)
This 3rd script is only installed on a few GPTRE-Programs 'til now, but it makes the biggest problems! It seems, that, while installing the new scripts, the formerly scripts have been deleted! (also the folder 'pe' in the webspace of that programs!). So if someone calls one of the formerly ref-links, it will produce an ERROR-message and the visitor will not come to YOUR program (also not in the downline of that member who gave him this bad link!).
And thats not all: A lot of YOUR members order paid advertisings for your program at other sites (or paid banner-exposures). If you change the scripts, before their paid-ads are running, they lose a lot of money.
So PLEASE:
If you really need to change the scripts, check if the ref-links have been changed. If so, then send an eMail to ALL YOUR MEMBERS about that and also make sure, that the older links will work at least one or two more weeks!
Remember: Each referral, made by your members, is also a new member for YOU, so last not least it's also your own money you save, when you do this!
