Can anybody help me with a problem I have?
I have a problem with the CAC-script, active members become pending members so they can't log in and even if I search in the usermanager I can't find them either.
Does anyone know what cause this problem and does anyone had the same problem ever?
Please help me, I have emailed FRANK KOPA from CAC several times but I don't get an answer,

HEY, me too! And here my members think I am just being sneaky!! It just started recently, I think... Good luck getting an answer out of Frank. If you do, let ME know, since he's not answering MY emails for some reason.

I've an other problem like this: some userdata files goes totally BLANK....no personal informations, no email, no earnings, no referrals.....
I don't know why.

Thea, we had the same issue with some of the Re-AD users and I think it happens because the server our site is hosted on can't handle the traffic the CAC scripts cause, and it goes offline all the time.
These service outages can damage the userfiles (or any other data), so my advice is just to make frequent backups of important files..

Have all of you upgraded to the new info.lib 2.2?
If you are using 2.0 (I think what that version should be called), your members information will get erased whenever you edit any of their information.
If you are using 2.1, the user name field will disappeared when you edit the members information.
In 2.2 the edit option is disbaled! So that this will not happened. If you want to enable that edit function. You need to email Frank and ask him to send you a bug fixed version of the info.lib.

I too have this problem, members emailing to say they can`t log in anymore, when I search for their account, they are not in the system.

I don't believe Frank is interested in the problem anymore... I think he reaches a quota of customer service and then you are somewhat on your own, and forget it if you make changes. After I made changes he stopped replying to my queries, even though the changes had nothing to do with the problems I was asking about. And now he doesn't want to 'sell' the CAC sites, he wants to 'lease' them, no outside modifications. Riiiiight. Good luck!
I too am having problem and receive absolutely no response from frank, I had 4 buyers for his script and I told them as soon as mine has been redesigned I would sell it them, I'm not going to be selling franks scripts...I think it's EDITED if you can't modify the script to your liking if it was made the correct way there shouldn't be any problems..but honestly these scripts were made half fast is what i think and the leasing EDITED is for the birds... (I think frank will start losing business if he has that attitude)
you can get a pay per click search engine thru me for $75 with no design or $145 with design (I got some more cool graphic programs just dying to try out)
all those affiliate programs that he has you can buy that thru me at a lower price

tombmailer now has a viruses it seems <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" /> EDITED hackers what the EDITED is there problem, they see something nice and they have to ruin it for everybody (so far i have receive at least 20 viruses a day in the email) ughhhhh all tombmailer and all annoying (if the people sending the viruses keep up with it , I will make it mandatory that you have a hotmail , yahoo, earthlink, a known provider for email, cause I've have just about had it, i'm at my wits end with this one

Just be fair to Frank. He did respond to email, though most of the time it is not too helpful.
I have pointed out to him that the problem of info.lib version 2.0 and he give me a reply that they do not have that problem. But then a few days later they release a fix on that.
Make sure all of you have asked Frank to email you the latest info.lib 2.2 version. You cannot download it from the CAC site. You need to ask Frank to email it to you.

I'm trying to be fair to frank , I left a very good great response to his script, I wanted to buy the lotto script and he never got back to me about it. everytime i emailed him which is like a good 5 times that i emailed him, so if i email him about the version 2.2 info.lib will i get that in the email or will i not get a reponse

I experience this problem with Re-Ad. My account which is confirmed, but now become pending!

i dont believe it has anything to do with the host, it's the script. everyone has a different host, so why should everyone experience the same problem unless it's the script
I have a new thought about this issue. I think it is not the problem of the script.
I think someone, probably a PTRE webmaster, is deleting accounts every where. I think many of us is using the same password to login these sites. So any particular PTRE webmaster will get hold of all these passwords. So if he went to delete our accounts in a particular site, we will lost an account. He might even try to register again with the same email address causing active accounts --> pending accounts problem.
I don't really think the script can turn an active account into a pending account. There should be something wrong somewhere!

Re-AD has give me a reply, my data in Re-Ad has become empty. So my assumption that someone is deleting the accounts is wrong. This should be something done by the script.

Frank told me that when a member gets referrals his account is deleted en overwritten again in 1000 of a second. When the server is overloaden, which often happens the last times, it now often happens that this acoount is not overwritten and so it is gone. Thsi is the explanation of Frank. It is logical now. I have mailed him back to thank him, but also said that he had answered like this before I would not have be very angry with him.
He understood it, he was working with host4profit to solve this problem that this won't happen again more often.

Dollarz-mad is having problems with accounts losing their earnings and becoming pending again. If anyone does know how you can dolve these propblems, im sure all of us CAC site owners would be grateful to you. Me and Jamie Sylvester (a good friend of mine) are working on php scripts to replace the perl scripts CAC made and yes, CAC are refusing to answer our mail.
What is this info.lib file you are on about?

When you add an email address to any page make sure you add a backslash () before the "@"
You shouldn't have any problem then.

We have been with three different hosts and have had disappearing accounts with the first 2
We are now with Host4Profit and have not had any since we moved.
We even had the problem when we were on CAC hosting.
So I believe the problem is the scripts and not the host.

To add an email to a page and not have it clickable use use@domain.com make sure you put the in there.
mine is in php, you don't have to do that with php, if it was cgi yes, but it's not
Very strange, as I always answered every email I received within 24 hours...I apologize for any unresolved problems, although as stated, I replied immediately to every email I received...
