I haven't gotten any emails either. I'm not gonna quit though...it's not causing any kind of back up in my email box at this moment...so I'll wait it out! Curious to see what kind of explanation they come out with next!

There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT READ PAY CAN GIVE OUT 1000S OF DOLLARS A DAY TO PEOPLE AND FREE GIFTS. THAT ISN'T POSSIBLE DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THEY WOULD HAV TO MAKE TO PAY ALL THOSE PEOPLE?

wellI went and checked the advertising page to see how much this guy is changing since he is claming $2. and email, guess what there are no prices listed.
Then I read the terms and came a cross this
order to receive payment, you must submit a request to Readpay.com using the electronic request form provided to you via your email account webpage. Your membership account webpage will contain a calculation showing the amount of money accrued in your account. In case of a dispute as to the amount accrued, the amount shown in your account is final and binding upon you in all respects. You may only request payment, and Readpay.com shall only disburse from your account, when your account is equal to or greater than $100.00. In the event of technical problems or data loss which causes a loss of account information, your account will be reset at $0.00, and you hereby waive any and all claims for any amount previously accrued but not yet disbursed. All payments shall be by check, money order or other bank instrument. Any payment returned to Readpay.com as rejected or undeliverable shall remain the system as owed to you for 7 days. You will be notified via email that you have 7 days to claim the funds. If you do not claim the funds, your account shall be deleted and the accrued amounts will be forfeited by you.
This site is a scam...Go read the term, very interesting.

I'm not one that calls a program a SCAM too quickly. Well this just made me do it... READPAY is a major SCAM with this quote:

Hi Everyone LISTEN UP!!! There's another topic about ReadPay somewhere in this folder if you wanna go check it out too. I joined ReadPay about 2 months ago, and I actually received 1 email from them that said PAID but it wasn't. That is the ONLY email i got from them. I wrote the webmaster at least 6 timees to find out what was going on, with no reply. THIS PROGRAM IS A SCAM!!! I believe they are harvesting email addys, because members at the forum here have been complaining about spam. I'm just trying to warn everyone, STAY AWAY!!

I've never gotten any mail from them. I did write them to ask why and of course, I didn't get an answer. As far as needing to get referrals first..that's just crazy. What do you say to your potential referrals: "This program sucks, but please join anyway"?!!

Just got an ad for this program, the body of the ad reads:

I joined last month and I already have 208.00 dollars in my account.
They pay you 2 dollars to read each mail.
Am PMing the webmaster who sent the ads with link to this thread... LOL

I'm not sure who will advertise for $2 per member. If there's 1000 member the ad cost will be $2000, and that doesn't include the ref % and co profit. Maybe the porn , gambling or lottery site , just MAYBE will advertise. You'll reach payuot limit easily BUT.....
QUOTE

Suddenly you got email saying that the server crash, the mouse was eaten by the cat, the backup file was corrupt [no, I don't think they'll do backup] so your account reset. Thank you for being a member
They can do that, and if you complain they'll say
READ THE TERMS

Well, guess what?
You couldn't advertise with Readpay even if you wanted to.
I tried to send email to the address listed in their advertising section and this is what I got back:
From: MAILER-DAEMON@sun10087.dn.net <MAILER-DAEMON@sun10087.dn.net>
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at sun10087.dn.net.

I signed up with readpay a month ago , i wrote them like three letters and never heard one thing back then one day last week boom i finally recieved a a paid email and get this they gave me two dollars and then email was about lotterypay. lotterypay deposited $100.00 into my account inexchange to get one person to order a subscription. i then went to read pay and i have a total of $202.00 in my account. I just think that its hard to find advertisers who will pay alot to have people see their sites, im going to stick with them an see what happens, after all i am not losing anything that i already didnt have.

I'm a member. They claim they have sent me TWO paid emails, but I only received ONE with any kind of link - and I have received credit to my account for it.
Now the amusing part. If you read over the site, they claim that they pay EACH day any member with a balance of $100 or more. Well, last weekend I checked my balance and found it stated I had $202 - it was still that way today! Have I been paid by them - ha!
Additionally, when I was at the site today, there was a notice on my earnings page stating that they had received some sort of response from me or my address and that my account had been set to inactive! Considering that I have NEVER written them and do NOT have ANY auto-responders connected to me, I sure would love to know how the H*** that could have happened!
Personally, I think the whole thing is ridiculous, but I'll stick for now, strictly for the laughs! I wanna see what kind of shaft jobs get pulled by them! I know I recently saw an ad by some guy claiming they owed him over $260. Considering that I have acquired a balance of $202 from email, one really has to wonder just how honest that guy's balance was, considering his ad was a screen shot and showed he'd only gotten 3 emails himself! LOL

I have been getting spam, I left several several days ago with $102 in my account. I got one paid email. Woo.
JAke
P.S. Instead of taking the polite route, after I read these 2 threads about them, I sent a very bitc[color=black]hified message, 2 actually. I bet even those won't be replied to.

SCAM SCAM SCAM ALERT...
I joined also. BUT....no one that I have found has been paid. I suspect this site is a scam. I looked up who owned the domain, the phone number had been disconnected (I called), the fax number is bogus, the street address couldn't be found.
I emailed the company that registered the domain name, they said they weren't responsible for "policing the internet". (Buyer beware - good thing I didn't buy anything.)
It's been hypothesized (on other forums) that this webmaster is taking the e-mail addresses and using them for other things (?). If that's so, then could he/she also use your password to log into other accounts (if you share your password between sites - I did, don't now)! Anyway, I've changed all my passwords on every site I'm a member of. (Yes, that's a preposition at the end of my sentence).
I've contacted two other people who are also members of readpay - they haven't been paid either. (This is a real bummer, cuz that payout really looked sweet.)
Anyway, I've emailed readpay, and the two other members that I know of. I will probably exit out of the program by the end of the week (I keep hoping that someone, somewhere, has been paid and that I will be paid, too. Fat chance, at this point.)
There were two other postings on another forum, members saying they'd been paid. Both e-mail addresses turned out to be bogus, postings were bogus.
Please post if you find otherwise, and I'll take back every mean thing I said about this site!

Ok this is my point of view. I joined readpay like 3 months ago i have received 4 emails from them all about lotterypay everytime i clicked the link going to lotterypay i received $2 so now i have$ 8.oo in earnings plus i receive a letter from lotterpay telling me that they payed this amount.
Now If you all read the letter about lotterypay they pre-deposit the money into your readpay account but you CAN NOT with drawl it until you have gotten one person to purchase a subscription with lotterypay. When you do have some one purchase a subscription to lotterypay by using your referral id they then will send notification to read pay to go ahead and allow you to with drawl $100 from them. 1 subscription equals 100 dollars. This was set this way as an insentive for you to go out and advertise lotterpay.
I personally think that read pay goes out and Looks for these advertisers instead of the Advertisers going to them.
Right now lotterpay is the only account they have.
Dont mean to sound rude or anything but you guys/gals really need to read there emails when you do get them.
Also I would like to add that it took about a month or two before i did finally get an email from them and i did write them like 3 0r 4 times and they never answered any of them.
But i'm going to stick with them any ways, They are not hurting me and i have earned $8 for only 4 emails one link in email.
Thanks for lisen!!

Well, maybe readpay should read the emails sent to
themTheir administration shows absolutely no member support whatsoever. I personally have emailed them about different issues when I was a member, and received not one response. So , as far as I'm concerned, any program that call it's members lazy because they're not promoting the site enough (did you get that NON-PAID email?) is not worth my time.
