Is there any way that you webbies can mark which PTC links are searches? A lot of times there is a banner, but if you use the generic PTC graphic I never know which it is going to be...

If I've already done my limit of searches for the day I hate to click on a search link when I know my search won't be valid. I try to close them ASAP but sometimes the timer runs out before the page loads; not on every program but I even have DSL and the timers beat me once in a while. I feel so guilty when that happens!

so many of us agree with you!! Some WMs have been marking them lately yet most you get a suprise

If we click on a custom banner, often we don't know it'll be a search .. (I know in your site it's in a special section tho, which is great ) and if it's marked we don't know what searchengine it'll be so, I do like jdtonya and try to close it as quickly as possible if I know my search will be invalid .. but it doesn't always work and then feel like stealing ... yuck

In the mails there is often (but not always) a re-visit link so that you have an indication that it is a search.

I don't mind doing the PTC's at Mike's and Clixmonster because he has that little 'search' icon (though he does miss one once in a while).

I guess what I'm saying is that I'd rather save my valid searches for paid email links.

Wanted to add that putting the Pay to Search in a separate section is a great idea PPPRK...

That would be great to have them marked. I don't like clicking on them either unless I can do a search, but with so many programs using search links, I run out of searches before I am through most days and then they aren't valid.

Ditch the dsl, pay for me to have dsl, go back to dial up.

Actually Stanne my DSL is less than $10 more per month than what I was paying for dialup AND my ISP gave me a free phone line along with it so I won't give it up for love or money! (I just got the DSL on Thursday and LOVE it!)

You can come move to my town though and I'll give you the address of the ISP! (Rent's cheap here too!) Nothing like small town living!

Sounds tempting. If I am not taken by Madonna College, perhaps I will move there.
