I wrote the words "Tesas points" on the 10th of each month in my diary. Trouble is I cannot remember if I thought to get my upgrade points early or whether they have not been set for this month.
Anyone with a better memory?

no - they have not been set up yet - lol
my fingers have been extremely bad these last few weeks so I have been doing as much as I can to keep everything going - but I have left the monthly points behind - I will try to get them done this weekend - it won't be today becasue I have a roaring migraine on top of everything else.
thanks for the reminder

I wasn't 100% sure if I had got them this month so clicked on Mama/Papa Tesa but had to log on and then was told I was not entitled to visit the page.
In the past I have clicked and got to the page to be told there are no ads for you this month if I have already collected the points.
Is it just me having this problem?

I'm currently getting a "You are not allowed access to this page."
So, I'm not sure what's the implication there? And no I don't think we received the points this month.

actually - its the same issue as with the upgrade ads - give me a couple days to see if I can fix it - if I can't - I will manually ad the points to your account
thanks for pointing this out tho - if I had thought about it - I would have fixed it at the same time as the ads.

Just making a note of that we did not get the monthly points for the month of July. Perhaps it's something she could take care of when she comes back from the move.

I would imagine there will be an enormous amount of work on the sites for Karen to do when she returns and I doubt if she will be doing anything about them as she did say in an admin message:
I don't have time to set up the bonus points this month - so if you want them - you have to send a nice polite request asking for them - any requests that I get that just say I want my bonus points - or bonus please will not be recognized - since you normally have to work to get them - this month is no different - if you can't spend spend the time to request them nicely - I won't have the time time to issue them - sounds like a fair deal to me.
So you can be like me and write off this months bonus points or you can write a nice message asking for them.

There comes a point whereas how much of a sacrifice do the members have to keep making for the owners, going a few years back?
Alright, I'll keep that in mind. One possibility is to just combine the months and reward them when she can.

Jul 23 2011, 08:19 PM
How many ads would you have to click to receive more points then your bonus? Your sacrifice is worth less then a penny. I am sure Karen will address the monthly when she returns and credit those accounts that request such credit.
blythburgh
Jul 24 2011, 01:39 AM
I am not asking any upgraded member to sacrifice any points or ads. Upgrade ads are can still be sent in this month so they will not be lost.
What I chose to do was to forgo this month points and repeated Karen's message about sending in a message asking for the points nicely and she would add them before she moved house if time permitted or when she got home.
And I must admit as a Mama Tesa that is a fair few points I am giving up. But when points are on sale for such low amounts as they are currently then they are not worth a lot. But hopefully we will soon get back to a fair price for the points sold.
When Karen is back online I will be buying more points so I can send in even more PTC ads. They really are the best place for the PTP and Affliate page ads. As Karen can only send out a certain amount of email ads then putting those sort of ads in the PTC (where they go faster) it makes sense to keep the email ads for when you want to tell people just how great a certain site is or about the net business you are part of.

I made more than enough sacrifice for the program going a few years far back. Did you also purchase the Mama Tesas membership out of your own pocket few years ago, then not even once cash out in the process? I didn't think so either.
It's not so much the points itself. It's the principle. Hey, I paid for the service and expect to receive it.
Besides blythburgh could vouch for this. There were times in other programs, whereas the members tried to be a good sport, went with the flow and be supportive of whatever dilemmas or circumstances the po may have been going through, only to be on the receiving end of a short stick. So, it's good to speak up sometimes.

Dan I applaud your success at other sites. You have a huge downline at my favorite site..the Clix one. When it comes to sacrifices though consider the following. Social security disability on the west coast of the usa pays over $1000 a year below the federal poverty line. Considering the cost of living the poverty line for my state must be higher then the federal. I dont know what it pays in Canada. Regardless rather then shut this site down as many owners would have Ron and Karen spend money out of their own pockets to maintain the site and pay its members. They have sacrificed a great deal in my opinion.
No I have not purchased a lifetime upgrade as I dont have enough sites to advertise. I do however read over 3000 ads a month supporting the members of this site. I have 400 surf credits here. Overall I feel the members appreciate my ad support more then they would me purchasing an upgrade. I am also one of those cheap points sellers.
Karen did introduce the almost weekly green box bonus and changed the contest click reward back to a penny. I have no doubt she will offer all upgraded members their upgraded points either through double points in August or send a friendly email and she will credit them.
I apologize for any offense I have caused but as a person on disability there is much I would like that I must sacrifice due to lack of income. I will however continue to support the members advertisements at a high level of support. In return someone has been purchasing my points. Blythburgh if this is you then I thank you very much for doing so.

I do not expect anyone else to do what I do here. But I rarely use my upgraded ads (Mama Tesa) nor do I cash out. I use the cash I earn here to buy points and add my own cash to my acounts so I can buy even more.
Buying points is not something I do just to be nice to the members. I can use them to buy PTC ads more cheaply than if I pay cash. And by paying cash into my account it still gives Karen money to spend on payouts.
Like I say, I do not expect any other member to do the same. But I would urge more people to top up their accounts (when Karen gets back of course) and buy points. You will find it a very good way to get your PTP ads seen and a good return on those ads. PTP is not free money, we only earn when we advertise. And I am happy with my PTP ads here, the PTC ones are always available, it is only the amount of emails that Karen can send that is limited.

To have got July's all upgraded members had to do was write a nice message to Karen and ask for them. Some like me decided not to add to Karen't burden (OK maybe it was just me lol) whilst others asked nicely and got. Those who did not bother to ask, just demanded them or did not read the admin mail so missed out on the chance of asking did not deserve the points for that month IMHO.
And like, Dansbanners, I am pleased to see those cute squirrels back.

The good news is that I can think of a buncha whimsical quips, the bad news is that by the time I write them, they're no longer funny, Oh well, hope all is well with y'all.
Have appointments with all 3 doctors this week. The surgeon is still waiting for the pathologist's report after what they did. Not sure what's happening other than they put me on morphine (the stuff they give you when they're relatively certain the end is nigh) Doesn't make sense to me that they'd put me on that stuff. For now, I'm praying for strenth to get through it.
Other than that, I wish y'all the best, seeing as how the fat lady isn't even warming up yet.

Over here, when they give ya morphine, they're telling you to get your sffairs in order. The only drug stronger is heroin. The back pain is manageable, the liver pain is not.

That's really strange - I was on morphine for over a year - lol it most be a US thing that it means you are close to the end - here it just means you gots a boo-boo that really really hurts - a big ouchie - lol
as for the only thing stronger being heroin - there is something stronger than heroin - it is called methadone - it is the drug they give you to help you get OFF heroin - it is stronger than heroin - so they start you on a low dose and build you up to the point you are feeling the same as you were on heroin - and most of the time - it isn't that high a dose - then you stay on that dose for a couple weeks - then they start lowering the dose very slowly - usually without telling you so that you still believe that you are on the same dose and the feeling stays the same - its psychosomatic - or something like that - you think something is one way so your body acts like it is that way - anyway - after they have lowered the dose as low as they can and you can still be considered on it - they start giving the doses further and further apart - the person is getting counseling all this time to help them figure out the addiction and how to handle stress and stuff without the drugs and as soon as they are showing signs they are ready they lower the total mix you are getting - I know that confusing - methadone is a liquid - it has to be mixed with something so you can drink it - so the whole time you are on it - they make sure that you are getting the exact same amount of liquid total - as they lower the dose they increase the liquid - so that there is no visible change. after a while you are only taking it once a day as maintenance until you adjust to not having drugs in your system - then you are done - easy peasy - takes forever - but it is easy -
now I am not on that plan - that is the addiction plan - I am on the pain plan - which means that my dose doesn't ever go down - it just goes up as needed - they took me off morphine to put me on this - that is where I was in January this year when I was gone for close to 4 weeks - it was brutal.
anyway - it is not working that well for me - so they are trying to find something that will work still - itis very frustrating - as I am sure you are well aware of
love you Ron - feel free to yahoo me if you ever want to talk or rant and rave or vent - anything you need I am here for you - as are most of the members - can't say all because we have new ones that don't know you - if they did tho - I know they would send you their love and support too.
