I am a newbie in this kind of thing. When I tried to surf a PTC Sites there are so many PTC sites, I guess thousands of them. My friend wants me to join a PTC site which pays USD 10 - USD 5. Is this really true? You are being paid for USD 10 -5 just for a click, my opinion is , "Its too good to be true".
So I am wondering, whats really the characteristic of good PTC.

Some high paying PTC sites pay, but they are revenue sharing sites. Pay out may be $10.000 but you end getting 20-50 cents.

Reliability of PTC sites matter a lot. PTC sites normally provide 0.01$ to 0.02$. I check from how many months such PTC site is available and working members.
High pay PTC like that are just pretty much scams. Sadly even the ones that only offer 1 to 2 cents per click are of questionable viability.

Before you join a PTC site you definitely need do some maths and work out sustainability.

If the site is selling ads for just a few $ but paying out a lot then the site can't be sustained based on its income.
Sooner or later they will run into trouble or they are a scam from the start.
Generally sites never pay more than 0.02 a click. If you see higher than this they take a look at how much they are selling ads for.
They will need a big return to cover the outgoings.
Also try a DD on the site and owner. Most honest site owners are happy to chat if not too busy.

Even more sad is that for the majority of the members of those sites, the majority being members who are likely never to get but a few referrals if not none at all, 2 cents doesn't even cover the electricity or internet bandwidth costs used during the time you are working the program.

It took me a lot of trial, error and frustration to find some legitimate ptcs. I use to think they were a total waste of time, but I found some that actually paid me. I have signed up for a lot of newer sites lately and you don't know until you sign up that they are investment sites. I don't want to be forced to invest to earn. They are not my main money makers but I was suprised that you can make some money with these sites, it just takes time like anything else does.

Sadly the future is questionable for all three. VCBux I had joined recently. Got to $2 requested a payment. Well, I tried to request one. I just got recent to the account page. Then I got on their forum. What a mess. Spam everywhere. The owners apparently have no interest in keeping the forum in order. There was an announcement that ownership had changed hands. That was well over a month ago. It appears no one has gotten a payment since. When I first joined I was seeing payment proofs at another forum so I thought I was ok. Apparently I was wrong.
Onbux is questionable too. Not as bad off as they seem to be maintaining their forum at least. However, I am not holding my breath I will get a payment this next cashout. I still need $1.67 to make it to 4 dollars.
Neobux is probably the best shot I have at getting a payment from the 3 Bux sites. Sadly, I am only getting 1 penny a day most days now if that much. It will be several months before more to make it to $4 is that keeps up.
So, I think I will pass on Bux sites for now. too many have turned sour for me.
