I have gone from getting many ads to just one every few days or so? Is something going on with either my account or the site????

No, I just cannot afford to give away cash ads to the upgraded members when most of them paid for the upgrades with points. Points are far from worthless.

The way most members get paid is from selling their points back to the advertisers. How it works is that you take points ads (I haven't checked your account to see if you take them or not). PTP justaclickplease ads are worth 25-29p (points and ads where the advertiser gets to say something to you are 60p. All emails, unless the advertiser buys an ad to all, are targeted by Interest and Country of origination of the clicks.

Search ads which never ask/coerce you to search are mostly 60p with some coming along at 120p (at the advertiser's request, usually because they make more money advertising their links with us than they do at other sites). On these ads, we will only say "Looking for anything?" and searches are generated by those who are genuinely looking for something so the advertisers are not defrauded. We have a very supportive membership and, in the advertisers words, "We make more advertising with TTM than we do at other sites"

After you amass some points either through your own clicks or buying from other members, you can either trade the points for advertising or upgrades or sell them back to the advertisers. The popular going rate is around 1¢ per thousand points. Minimum sell order is 10,000p

If you compare the cash price of upgrades to the points price that comes with the same perks, you will see why most use points for upgrades/advertising rather than cash.

I checked your account and points Ads is deselected. To get all the ads we have, you'll need to opt in for the points ads

Glad that is sorted. If you are selling points I may well have bought from you in the past. I am a buyer because my ads do so well here.

I used a 500 upgrade ad for a certain site that will remain nameless and got a referal from it and the ad is still running. I might have more but I have not checked the upgrade bit since I noticed that I had downline earnings.
