im new to the forums and ptc etc. i have a webserver (run and owned by me). i want o make some cash out of this. whats a good start? obviously dont want to start too big, but whats good for me?

If you have fund you can start a paid to read site like donkeymails as you have your own server you do not need to have problem with hosting fees.

what about if i dont have a fund? just ground-up kinda thing?

You always need some capital to run a business like for e.g. a PTC site. Or you can just rent your web server and get some cash of it. Alternatively make an interesting site and put google adsense on it. You can also make a site to sell affiliate product/services
