Paypal should be preference for all those who want to make money online. Alertpay have better support than paypal as they are smaller company. Paypal have good withdrawal method. You can request for check or can transfer your money on bank but depends upon your country.

I woud get both if I were you.
Alertpay has no fees if you open a personal account!! No need to verify Alertpay.
Both payment processors are accepted very well in the GPT industry.
I personally prefer PayPal because of it low withdrawal fee.
You need to find out which payment processor is accepted in your country, just visit the website and find out through their Faq etc. Next you shall look at the cost & method of receiving & withdraw. You mention check and I don't advise international member to receive check as payment because the processing fee of foreign check can be rather high at your local bank. You only get peanuts after the fee.

I prefer Paypal just only because I'm comfortable with it, I'm not sure to try out other payment processors since I don't know them, but I might try them out in the near future.

There is no best among the two. If you want to know which one is better base on your location you should try each one of them for you to understand the transaction to your country cause they have different rules set aside to every country they transfer funds.

I agree with one poster- try both. I am registered with both, but paypal is really the active account that I use for transactions. I am new to PTC so I have never gotten any money from any of them. But I buy PTC advertising through paypal and it works fine for me.

I suggest you get both. The more ways people can pay you, the better for your income growth.
You do not have to be verified at AlertPay to have a Personal Pro Account.

FYI, I found out in 2009 that as a Visa Card member, I could not use my card with AlertPay because the CC company told me that AP allows transactions with gaming sites. Visa went so far as to inform me that if I made another purchase through AlertPay using my Visa Card that my account would be closed by them. They do not want to be associated with any payment processors who allow gaming purchases. So, whether you use a Visa card to purchase a membership or advertising through AlertPay from a PTC site you WILL HAVE A PROBLEM!
PayPal doesn't allow gaming, so I don't have a problem with them. If you don't use a Visa card for anything, then you won't have a problem.

Paypal is nr 1 when having a bussines , Alertpay as its smaller , its less accepted on sites that accepts , moneybookers or paypal , and if having some gambling issues ( lol ) , i stick to neither of these two ( Paypal / Alertpay ) , since i know only 2 - 3 sites that accepts paypal , never heard about alertpay thou.

I use both, try personal account first, with no fees (to collect your money). You can upgrade your account, to get more benefits.
For now, i prefer paypal to alertpay. Paypal accept as much as 0.01 USD.

I normally only get money put into my paypal (from GPT sites), but I won't be able to withdrawn any money until I get this straighten out. Does anyone know if I could use a prepaid visa? Thanks.
