Sometimes when I open up a link my mouse starts to move on it's on. Does someone know the cause of this? It is getting rather annoying....Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bj.gif 771.gif

My mouse had a life of its own once. I was using wireless keybord and normal mouse. Had the wiresess mouse on my kitchen table and this was causing my problems bf.gif

Well my wireless mouse is on my mouse pad and desk, I don't really know why it does it on it's own, it moves around and sometimes it won't click when I press the buttons, this often happens when I click on a ptc link in as I'm doing my daily clicks in some programs.

I have had this happen on a few occasions. I just moved it around and it went back to normal. I have found this happens when you have a certain program open, for me it microsoft word for some reason. So mabye that is your problem?
ThisIsMyLife
No I believe it's the program orangebizs it just did it for me when I opened the site up earlier today, and other days when I'm clicking on orangebizs links it does it. x.x

Try to reconfigure your mouse, maybe thats the problem. I personally prefer a laser mouse with a wire, works like a charm. ab.gif

Ummmm okay now how in the world do I do that? Lol.

Thank you for your replies. aq.gif

wireless mice tend to act crazy when the mousepad surface is worn out or the batteries are dying. Get a wire mouse with a laser as marketingprofits said and it should work perfectly
Person1873
This quite often happens if you are using your mouse on a wooden surface as the light beam gets caught in the grain of the wood, the solution is to either use a mousepad or get a laser mouse rather than an optical mouse
opportunity
1. use mousepad
2. set mouse sensitivity settings at Control Panel (if using Windows)

Exactly what Opportunity said. You should use a Mouse pad and also just open up your mouse at it's bottom and clean up the tracker ball once. The dust inside your Mouse may also cause this behavior at times.

Your mouse is hovering by its own.... sometimes, you might have :

1. working without mouse pad.... so use one.
2. the mouse speed on the windows... has a FAST setting... so go to control panel and mouse, and adjust to the proper speed
(dbl.) click speed and motion).
3. the version of the windows you are using counts sometimes, may be the mouse brand has to be configured (with its own
driver (cd) on the windows... instead of the generic configuration).
4. if it is a w/less mouse, pls. try to replace your batteries and try for sometime.
5. if it is a PS/2 mouse.... probably the port on the computer is getting loose or not tight anymore.
6. if it is a USB mouse, the port may be not perfectly configured, pls. try to re-configure the USB on your windows (using the
motherboard CD (that came with the system), or update the latest USB driver for that particular MB from the inet.
7. you might have a virus !!! yes viruses sometimes keep mouse panic, have your system scanned, checked and cleaned.

You can skip step 6. if you get another mouse and check it with your system.

Hope i have covered most of the probabilities that might be the case al.gif .

Good luck and happy mousing aa.gif

lol, you have a ghost beside your mouse, and it dont have to be a wireless or lazor mouse, the sensors in normal mice that detect the movment of the little sprokets inside are getting interference with your ghost, the ghost is your mobile phone or bluetooth device aa.gif
