Hello,

I have a very old Tier 1/2 ptc for Fusion (15,729 out of 20,000 hits used). I just realized yesterday that for ages now, as far as I can check in my Fusion stats, I'm only getting invalids for it. I sent a support ticket to Bu yesterday, thinking it may be some problem with the ptp approval, and that is the reply I got from him:

> Hi,
> Is this ad still running??
> Looks to me all current hits are very likely bots, they are all referred
> by http://tesasteamails.com/pages/ptsearch.php (Normally it should be
> .../scripts/runner.php...) Is this their ptc page url?
> Thanks,
> Bu

I just checked and the url he mentions is one I see above the whole page of T1/2 ptc's when I first open it, but then when I click a link, it does have a normal runner. When I hover my mouse over the banner in my ad stats, it does look like it has a runner. So why would it show as without a runner to Bu? I'm totally puzzled. I also have another T1/2 PTC running, for Vale, and that one credits fine. Could anyone please help me figure out what is wrong here?

My username at Tesas is Triskell

Thank you!

http://tesasteamails.com/pages/ptsearch.php is the page where Tier 1 and 2 hits originate but they all have their own runner when clicked. There are several ads in there for Fusion and only yours are showing as invalids? This makes no sense. Have they always been this way or only recently? When I click your link, it goes to the right place but says nothing about your getting any credits for it. Usually, they say you got credited either something or 0 credits and yours says nothing.

Ron, is this the one that got set to a zero timer because of the multiple redirects/framebreakers coming from the rotator? (I think I reported it originally in the support section) Not triskell's fault, there have been several problems with the rotators lately and as far as I know their admin can't track them down. Lydia

Ron, at Fusion you do not see any message when a member doesn't get credit (only when they do, but not when they don't). So if you saw no credit message at all after clicking my ad, this most likely means it was an invalid.

Hopefully Avalinejet is on to something with the zero timer explanation (Thank you! ch.gif ). Though that still wouldn't explain why only my Fusion was set to zero timer, while - as Ron says - other Fusion links are running there and the timers on them haven't been changed. As long as someone is advertising the same link (the main upgraded one, the one most people advertise), the rotators in their ptp would not be different from mine, so why would mine have been singled out? Also, knowing you guys always provide great customer service, I find it hard to believe that my ad would have been altered like this without me getting a personal admin or being notified in any other way - ???

Anyway, bottom line is - what can I do now? Can you check the timer on this ad and if it has indeed been set to zero, can you revert it to some value that would give me credit again? Or do you prefer me to send a replacement ad for a different site?

I set it for 1s timer to give time for the runner to show and increased the value to get it closer to the front. I also added a few hits to it to help make up for any inconvenience. As far as switching it for a different ad for a diferent site, that's your call to make and we'd be happy to do it for you.

Looks like it might have just received the first valid (my guess is that the other clicks are from before the timer got changed):

Referer: http://tesasteamails.com/
Tier Total Hits Valid Hits Valid % Earnings
EU1 4 0 0.00% $0
US 7 0 0.00% $0
UK 3 1 33.33% $0.0008
CA 5 0 0.00% $0
Dutch 3 0 0.00% $0
Total: 22 1 4.55% $0.0008

I'll get back to you about it tomorrow, after I see more stats at Fusion, OK? I'll then decide whether I'd like to keep the ptc as is or change for a different one.

Thanks a lot for your help bk.gif

Sorry for causing you this trouble. Next time, I'll suspend the ad (not necessarily this one) instead of setting it for a 0s timer.

As promised, I'm back with stats after a full day and yes, this definitely looks much better ab.gif

NP, since I am the one who reported the framebreakers to begin with, I figured I should chime in to remind you what happened and get Triskell's ad earning again. Lydia
