I would like to offer reinstatement of any GPF Accounts to anyone who had their accounts Banned unjustly.
I appreciate that this is a sensitive matter and has caused a lot of ill feeling in our industry. I would like the opportunity to try and right the wrongs where possible, hopefully rebuilding some bridges that were burned. If an account was completely deleted, then unfortunately there is no way to recover it, but if it was set to 'Banned' then it should be fully recoverable. Conversely, if anyone has been set to 'Banned' and wishes that account to be completely removed, again please contact me.
It would be impossible to contact all those affected individually, not only due to the numbers involved, but also not knowing all Members that lost their accounts. If anyone affected has created a new account here, please contact me via PM if you would like your old account reinstated. Please be aware that after this amnesty, any and all duplicate/multiple accounts found will be terminated in accordance with the rules, regardless of status.
For those that are unable to access GPF, I have set up a special email address on our own domain, this is because I do not have access to a GPF Email Account as yet - EMAIL ADDRESS NOW WITHDRAWN
Remember, I will only consider reinstating accounts that were banned unjustly. If you were banned for genuine reasons (as stated in the rules of this forum), I cannot help you.
Under normal circumstances, Members are not permitted to post on behalf of a Banned Member, but we will make an exception in this case IN THIS THREAD ONLY!! If a member wishes to act as a 'negotiator' for an affected 'Banned' member, please post here or send me a PM.
All emails and PMs will be treated in the strictest confidence and I will endeavour to do my level best to find a solution to any issues.
Please note that the 'GPF HelpDesk' is not working (as announced earlier in the year) and I do not yet have access to it, I will try and investigate to get it back online.
