Sorry but I guess I am just tired of all the "scam callers" without any real reason to call anything or anyone a scam!
A member gets deleted from a site, they yell scam!! Turns out they did something wrong themselves and it was easily corrected!
A member does not get credit for some award for something immediately, they call scam! Turns out they just did not see it on their accounts.
Happens every where not just gpt/ptr/ptc biz...clerk outs the wrong price on a item in the store, people yell what kind of scam is this?
Personally I got to say, I think we all over use the word scam; check out what the Urban dictionary says a scam is:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=scam

Here is another interesting one:
http://www.eecl.org/scam/definition.shtml

I thought Wiki had a good page too with this:
A confidence trick or confidence game (also known as a bunko, con, flim flam, gaffle, grift, hustle, scam, scheme, or swindle) is an attempt to defraud a person or group by gaining their confidence.

And Google scam and wow you get a lot of pages!

So what does SCAM mean to you?? No please do not start name calling or pointing fingers either, just say what it means to you, not who you believe has scammed you, in other words, no names please.

A scam is basically making false claims about products. Products that say "They will give you 20 lbs of muscle in 3 days" are scams. It's weird how there's not more crackdowns on scams in general.

I agree with you both. A lot of good programs out there get little attention because people yelling scam over every little issue. There are many scams out there but I feel we shouldn't label it a scam untill we have hard evidence of it. If you do an online program and it pays you one day late, chill out. It's not a scam. If you do an online business and don't work at it, don't yell scam. It's called an online BUSINESS. That means you have to put a lot of work in to make your money. It's not going to fall into your lap. There should be a bigger crackdown on them and there needs to be ways to better the reputation of those that are legit and got falsely accused because of silly people.

Since there are so many scams these days, it's best to suspect in the beginning and be proved wrong rather than trust and lose your money. But I do agree a lot of the noobs take it a little far, like if their support ticket isn't answered in 30 seconds they want to cry scam.
