I was wondering what you use as your browser's home page? On my family account, we use our bank's website (Wachovia) so we can remember to check our account every day. On my personal account, I use either msn or yahoo.

And what do you think a home page should have? I want to be able to check local news and weather as soon as I log on. I would also like to have quick access to my email accounts.

This might seem like a strange discussion, but I am going somewhere with this.

Whatever page you use most often is what you should set your homepage to.
At least thats what most people probably do.

I can't remember the last time I had mine set to a blank page. I don't think I would be able to function with it set to that -- I have to have something familiar and customized every time I log on.

I use iGoogle, and I haven't changed my theme since I set it. I have on display quotes of the day, blog and news feed, links to important site, and slideshows.

I have it set to Gmail and then use Gmail Assistant to tell me which if any of my 20 accounts I need to check and RoboForm to do a one click logon.

My home page is gmail.com because I open gmail quite often.

I didn't like looking at the home page it was originally which was the Yahoo search engine, so i changed it to msn main page. I never really thought about a personalized home page I may think of one for as something fun to do sooner or later.

That would all depend on what browser I am using.

For Firefox it's set to swagbucks. Hope springs eternal that one day I will actually get more than a 3 spot. Although I could do worse than getting about $6.65 (Cash Equivalent)a month from the searching I was already doing.

IE is set to Yahoo. Never much cared for Google since there is no news, weather and other stuff I use from time to time that is just a click away.

Safari is set to Hotmail to keep up with 2 of my PTC mails sites. Probably should just move them over to G-mail but I like hotmails format better than G-mails.

Chrome is set to, I have not idea. I don't ever use Chrome.

And Opera I have yet to even install.

I wonder what other Browsers I could download. Other than Netscape. I haven't used that in years.

I use a start page from one of my traffic sites. I get credit each time it opens.

Mines blank, has always been blank and probably will always be blank. It's boring waiting on the browser to fetch some every time you run it. Especially when you run multiple windows
