Affiliate marketing is where you partner with other companies and post their banners on your site. If someone clicks their banner and signs up you will earn a commission.

Example: On my blog I currently have MacAfee on my site, if you click that banner and buy something, I will earn a commission percentage. I am signed up with Linkshare to handle my affiliate partners.

Yeah. it's very good opportunity to earned extra cash. But some says that it is not an easy as we think. I also heard that we need to sell the products. If someone purchased it we also get commissions right?

You don't have to sell the products. There are different kinds of affilate program:
Get paid per lead
Get paid per sale
Get paid per click
etc.

You don't need to have a website or blog. But it's a great advantage if you do.

I think affiliate marketing is good opportunity to earned extra cash, but you have to be active and advertise that programs.

Indeed, affiliate marketing can take you on ride of earning money online. $150-200 a month can be easily make by affiliate programing, even if you do this on sharing basis.

A: Here's the thing. If we were to tell our affiliates to advertise at Website XYZ, that Website would instantly and immediately be reduced to no value for anyone. Like a good fishing hole, if everyone fishes there, there will no longer be any fish to catch for anyone. Hence, we simply cannot recommend specific places to advertise.

That said, here are a some tips for finding good advertising sources:

1. There are BILLIONS of Websites and blogs. Use a search engine like Google to find Websites and blogs that interest you. Now start surfing. When you find one you like and/or that you know has a good amount of traffic, contact the Webmaster (there's usually a "Contact Us" link in the footer or header of most sites) and ask about advertising on their site. You might be shocked at how cheap you can get banners on some fairly high traffic sites.

Also, don't be surprised if some of the Websites you start advertising on decide to become affiliates themselves (sponsored by you of course). Each time this happens, you will have just created FREE (which is even better than cheap) advertising for your business!
2. Think newsletters! Hundreds of thousands of Websites publish newsletters that they they send to their subscribers daily, weekly, or monthly. Many Websites feature a newsletter signup link on their homepages. When you find one, contact the Webmaster and ask if they will run an ad for you in their newsletter.

Here again, you may be amazed at how cheap newsletter advertising can be, and yet many of these newsletters have a large and dedicated readership. That is, they have a LOT of subscribers, and their subscribers carefully read every issue of the newsletter (including your ad).

Affiliate Marketing is a good way to make a decent amount of money but it's not as easy as people make it sound. You have to do a lot of promotion and be active and it usually takes a little bit to get going in the beginning so don't expect a paycheck within the first months but with time it starts to pay off. I tend to avoid the ones that you have to sell stuff. I find it harder to get people to pay for some item than pay per click and etc.

I really love to read articles which are very informative and the topics are based or concerned with the current issues in our society. I admire these writers in sharing their views and or opinions that can enlighten the mind of the readers. Great job!

If you are involved in using referral programs from GPT sites then you are basically doing affiliate marketing.

This is if you understand the value and potential in referral programs.

This is why SOME (not too many) affiliate marketers understand how great GPT referral programs can be..

If I can find people that want to make a little extra money online, get them signed up as a referral to a site I totally trust and show them how to use the site..
