First Bookmark Search Engine
I joined first bookmark 3 months ago. I was told by a few members that they had deleted their accounts once reaching payout.

Well payout is $100 and last week i had $99 in my account.

Yesterday, my account showed over $120 so i requested payout.

Today i couldn't log in.
When i inquired as to what happend to my account, they e-mailed me back claiming that i was cheating their system.

I run a paid2read but i used their portal on my search page, and it was not incentivized clicks. My members do voluntary searches to help raise funds for payouts.

If he owed me $120, i generated over $200 in income for him.
So did 2-3 of my members that warned me ahead of time.
But i don't spread rumors until i know for sure.

This program definately needs to be boycotted.
$100 payout can take non-webmasters a long time, using their credits on click exchanges etc to promote only to find months down the road they've wasted their time completely.

Please boycott this one!

Yeah, read this in your email Carole and sorry to hear it.

Isn't it just typical of these cheating WM's of SE's?

If he reckons you're a cheat now, then how come you weren't a cheat last week? last month?

No, they wait until you earn them tons of earnings, then delete your account!!!

Although no doubt they'll claim they only checked your account when you requested, total BS, they must have been totally aware of where your searches were coming from.

I second your appeal, lets get this SE boycotted!!!

Yeah, valid point....but they're obviously not checking, as Carole wasn't using paid links.

Presumably they figure if you're a PTRE, you must be incentivising it.

Nasty attitude, that one.

She was using paidlinks..
She means she was just sending traffic to that portal page.

IMO.the problem with firstbookmark is not that they don't allow paidemails, but that they don't review traffic
& control accounts every day.
They just let their members waste time & money for a long time(until the members reach $100 & request payment)..
Maybe they will say they can't check all accounts everyday?

His latest statement to me.

Showed me my page said "Please do some searches to help mec-co-op make payouts"

HE considers that incentivizing.

WHat a jerk, as far as i'm concerned, the clicks were voluntary.
When i pay members to visit the search page, there are other search engines they could choose, if they chose first bookmark, i didn't pay them to do first bookmark.

He claims i was cheating because i was using the funds to pay members.

Gimme a break, it's my money, and if i choose to use it for payouts, that's my business not his.

Personally i think he was using that as an excuse not to pay me and to justify it as incentivizing.

From what i hear, he deletes accounts once they request payout, this is just one excuse, lame if you ask me.

Anyway i've removed that statement to avoid any further complications from other search engines.

He allows paid mail sites, just no incentivized searches.

I wasn't paying my members to do his searches, i paid them to visit my search page, which includes other search engines that have paid me multiple times
such as findingweb, searchtimes and searchnsearch.

This guy is just using that as an excuse to justify his scamming me out of $120

Well he's going to loose a lot more than the $120 as i'm doing everything i can to spread the word, and he'll loose a lot more than $120.

I was warned ahead of time about him, but i don't take people's word for word, because every situation is different but this one is the pits..
Obviously what others were saying is 100% true, he just sits back, lets you drive all the traffic to him, and pockets your money!

What a BSster! am.gif They just don't want to paid you and couldn't come up with a better excuse then this... when you put "please do some searches.." obviously the members are volunteering to do the searches... there is no way I see it as incentivized searching... I feel sorry for you! ah.gif

Sorry to hear about that ah.gif

I know a lot of search engines are very strict about incentivising searches. Many of them consider sending out paid emails (points or cash or advertising) as incentivising regardless that the text tells people that the search is optional.

You might want to check with the owners of each of the engine that you have on the page to see if what you are doing is acceptable. I know at least one of them will probably say no, and if so, it's better to know it now than later when you cash out. Better safe than sorry.

Good luck!
