My husband belongs to very popular forum, which has a restricted section for members who pay a month fee, well this girl registers and tells them she is 14, no one believes her(or heeds his warning that he saw she was 14 and told them guys watch out here) and sent out some inappropriate pictures for one that age. Her mother sees it and goes berserk! But the forum proved that when the girl joined and agreed she was of age and even used a credit card to pay her fees, that there was little her mother could do about it.
But it proves one thing, we really have no idea who or what anyone is online and have to use some smarts about so many things that probably should not be shared if we are not 110% sure about who we are talking to. I think it really is human nature to trust people, but being online makes it too easy to hide so much. Once bitten, twice shy I say!
