Just bought new computer and Outlook Express does not work on Vista 64 bit. So having fun using Windows Live Mail importing 3 years worth of emails and slowly setting up 30-40 email addresses. Knew should of got the Dell with Windows XP just hated fact XP only supports 4 Gb RAM.

Windows Mail that comes pre-installed, is just like OE. Live has to be downloaded separately. Apparently there are lots of problems with it.

I have Windows Vista and I use Outlook Express and when I went to Vista it imported all my mails with no problems. Now I did have to move the folders manually but that was because this was a band new computer. Oh it is called Windows Mail now on Vista I do believe.

I use Thunderbird. I think it's the best program. Especially the imap function.

Just curious as to why you need more than 4gb ram?
