Microsoft to patch security hole in Internet Explorer
TonyB
Hello

A worthy alert.

The use of FireFox (in particular) has long been promoted in this industry, due to the nature of the content of many sites advertised. If anyone had any previous doubt about the use of FF over Internet Explorer, then this alert should help to alleviate that.

I personally also recommend Thunderbird as an email client. Far better than Outlook Express and has features equal to and better than MS Outlook. It is less resource hungry and easier to keep clean. There are also loads of nice, useful add-ons which work with TB and FF.

Both (and more) can be downloaded FREE here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/

Best Regards

Tony

This might also be a GREAT TIME to change ALL your important online passwords ? ...Especially passwords for those sites concerning money ?

I guess that, may be Microsoft intentionally made that hole.

Because sometimes when we download and install higher versions or patches they ask to verify the copy of windows. And if it doesn't pass the authentication test, they don't install.

This is just my guess, I'm not sure.
