She was the first to join and is a Gold Member, so she has a huge downline. The hacker sent me this email:

I checked Monica's account today, because she asked for a payment and they had changed her password and entered the Egold number: 696239

So watch out everyone!!
If I didnt talk to Monica often I would have just paid this person, but luckily I know Monica, otherwise, the member wouldnt have been so lucky.

check your egold account if u using same password on that too
and try logging with the password that hopsoflove told u.
then email the program owner for account that u cant login in.

do those things quickly before the hacker can do anything further with your account

Hi monica !!! I am really sorry that you lost your $$ and accounts. But why you use same password for all programs. It is not safe. Do not use same passwords for all programs and keep difficult passwords which are hard to guess. I hope you will act on my advice. Hope you get your $$ and accounts back. Contact all the webmasters. I'm sure they will help you...Good Luck

the same happens to me few weeks ago :

I contacted immediately all the wm of program where I was unable to acced to stop redeemin and I strongly limited the loosing... also I reported the e-gold account to e-gold (the hacker account were : 636174 and 636814
). Moreover the hacker used my password to try to insert fraudlently his/her links on downline threads of gpf... I reported also these accounts to wm of the programs...

Hoping you will be able to restore all your accounts...

How difficult of a modification would it be in the various scripts to do this:

When you sign up, you select a payout preference of EG, PP, SP, Check, etc. and enter the appropriate ID for it.

Once you are confirmed, that field is locked for changing. In order to change it, you would need to write the WM from your registered email address to have it changed.

Are there that many people who change payout types and account numbers/IDs that is would be a huge increase in workload?

Would it add just a little extra measure of security? I know this would be pointless if someone gained access to the victim's email account, but it might prevent blind requests and stop a few of these things from happening.

And kudos to Mailing Heaven -- she noticed I was coming from a completely different IP when I requested payout (it had the city name in it so it was rather obvious) and she wrote and asked me if I had moved (which I had, and had missed MH in changing my addresses with umpteen programs). Very diligent!

This hacker requested payout 4 times in 1 day and I saw it was from your account so I knew there was something wrong because you knew when I was gonna pay you

I am not sure if I can display all the E-gold numbers here but the paypal address HopsOfLove posted was also send in a payout request to me.

I start "THE Get paid BUsiness" this beginning of the year.Here is my "lucky" experience.
First I spend the whole two months at Cashfiesta whatever people on the net told me he is scam. I still insist on doing that.I trust them because their website looks pretty good.I got hundred bulks after two months by my own and happy to click the button=Request.How lucky I am

I got the notifaction on the paying day:I was cancled due to cheat.I have no idea how to cheat!!!I am so "Proud" to see that my ID was appearing at their Hall of Fame.Of course I can't get my first payment.
Then I changed to "Paid to click".I finally have small incoming bouta 10 dollars at my e-gold after another month.I fill up confidence and continue to this business.Thinks are never going smoothly.Gosh,several important PTC accounts with some downlines are hacked even my mailbox password was being changed by the hacker those days.Those downlines came from my realworld friends becuase I duno there is good forum I can have downlines before.
The worst thing happen few mins ago:I surprising notice that "monicagulati" hacked account was leaving my egold account.I haven't checked my egold for awhile.So I login my egold immediately,luckly he left my password same.But Only 0.06cents left.
What the world is going on,man :ph34r: I am so depressed and wanna give up.Internet world make me suffocated.I felt that I am being nake at the net world.There are lots of blinking eyes wathing behind me in the corner.I wanna cry!!!!

it sounds like a keylogger or some spyware/trojan is on your computer

be sure to disconnect from the internet, run scans to fix any nasy stuff, then change passwords AGAIN.

for passowrd protection & retrieval, i highly recommend whisper

you can even have the program generate military strength passwords for you.
different passwords for EVERYTHING is the best way to go, IMO.

hoping you get all this sorted out with minimal loss

Sorry this is happening I hate it when people are soo friggin stupid and then have the nerve to email as if they're that person. That should be a form of identity theft. It's no different than withdrawing money from a bank acct. GRRR!

If this person is emailing people, why not post the headers, that will give the culprits IP. I'd also be getting the Admins on here to check if that IP matches ANYONE that has posted in the past or present.

I have checked there is no ip in the header

Possib;y your email client isn't showing you the full headers....there's always IPs in the header....at least your mail server's if no others.

monicagulati I feel bad for what your are going through, I know how you feel. A few yesrs back I had just over 8000 dollars withdrawn from my psavings account. What you should do is have strong security measures on your computer.

First thing you should do is write down all the book marks you wonna keep to add later on again.
Second is save any files that you need
Third if you don't know how take it to a friend or service center and reformat your computer. Once you reformatted install all the programs from the original CD's. Next you HAVE TO buy a strong anti-virus and Firewall. I recommend Nortons Anti-Virus and Internet Security, make sure they are the latest release. Also for extra measure you can get a trojan remover/scanner, I personaly use The CLeaner from Moosoft.

I have tested over 20 keylogger programs on my computer and Nortons found them within 15 minutes after they were installed.

I hope you really look into what I have written.

what peaceworld needs to do is copy and paste her egold transactions.. If she isnt the hacker she wpuld have no problem doing so.. That will also show where the balance went after her account
