So, has anybody been using this new browser from Google?

Google Chrome

It looks good but I've heard it's pretty slow, especially with flash-content on a page. Is it worth installing?
nitemares
i think its pretty fast although there is a problem with flash plugin. it just doesn't load the flash content.. pretty sure they will fix it soon.

I tried it for all of 30 mins and didn't like it at all.
Wasn't any faster than FF and the forementioned problem with flash is a pain.

Your computer is older what get slower than my computer is one year old. It is faster.

I tested it on my new TOSHIBA laptop which is 3 months old. The flash is the version that was around then as I removed Vista and installed XP Pro.

Anyway I'll give there browser a miss. The only google products I have is the g-mail notifier and google earth and I have quite enuff with those two.

Yes lynn,

Chrome is totally new way of looking at browser. Firefox still rules. But, Chrome will remove all the basic icons, url address box that is so common in IE. I'm sure Chrome made for one purpose, kill the Internet Explorer. It gaining more users now. It stands at above 10% of Internet users are using Chrome. This is just a few days after launching. I think it will even overtake Firefox.

I'm stil testing it. I like the speed and some feauters, but for now I will keep on using Opera. Since I first tried it has never let me down.
InfoMike
I tried it and quite like the speed, but for now I'm staying with Firefox 3 mainly because Chrome doesn't support Roboform (or Roboform doesn't support Chrome aa.gif). Other than that I predict it will become a major player in Web Browsers industry.

Maxthon - still my favorite IE compatible browser ac.gif

FF is still the best out there.
