You get more hits from Tier 4 than any other. It may be a good site to advertise a non-tiered link, but otherwise - unless their ads are very cheap - it may be hard to even just break even.
Compare the number of hits with the number of credits these hits earned you. 17 hits --> 6.91 credits, 16 hits --> 6.01 credits, etc. You get less than half (just slightly more than a third in fact) credits, so that means that to break even the cost of the ad would need to be lower than about a third of the advertised site's CPM (for example, if you advertise a site whose CPM is $0.7, you're not at a loss only if the ad cost you less than about 23-24 cents per thousand - for you to actually earn on it, it would have to be still cheaper).

That's why you never promote your link in one place only.

Yes it really has helped. I have read a lot of posts where these kind of statistics are shown and it's very hard to understand, well for me anyhow. I remember the first time I ran into the PTP section and wrote the PO and asked what they were for LOL!

Well 40-50 hits? What kind of an active member base would we be referring to here? I am seeing that even an active member base isn't a good indicator of hits.
Yea it doesnt really matter how many people are on the site. I have had good results with fusionmails and aquamails for targeted links.

go to the approved list of any ptp page. sort the list by number of valid hits, and look at last month's stats. all the sites on top will likely have a good active member base
