I'm running two banner campaigns @ Tesas and I thought I'd post here my quite weird results.

11,892 49 4.455 to 1 20,000 Views

9,544 55 6.111 to 1 10,000 Views

As you can see, 100 clicks for 20,000 views combined (both banners are for the same program- Cashdelight and are custom made, the one in my siggy and another one) and NO sign-ups.

It is quite nice to receive 100+ clicks from 20k impressions. I guess signups will follow. Usually, when people join from a banner with no incentives, they are really interested in the site and are likely to be active if the site is good.

That's what I've been wondering about. 100 clicks for 20,000 views is amazingly good for a PTR site but still... would like to know what's that about.

Since I got no sign-ups over there my conclusion is that most clicks are by mistake, in speed when clicking contest links... dunno...

Thats a nice click through for banner impressions, I'd be very happy with those results, unfortunately this time you didnt get any signups from it, but keep plugging away they will come sooner or later.

I think that's a great start custom made banners are truly the way to go.

I got many clicks from my banner impression ads as well and most of the time I got NO sign up like you. Most of them click out of interest, check the site, dislike then leave it and if they like the site they will find someone who offer them incentive to join or just join a downline builder or just simply delete away your referral ID. Therefore it is rather hard to recruit referral via ads now. We really need some luck

That happens more often now I agree, if they know about incentives offered or about downline builder. I had about 4 signup under me in Hits4Pay from 50 000 Banner impressions on TesasTeaMails. That was a while ago, though. But, I guess it also depends on what site you advertise and what program is advertised. If you advertise cashdelight at a site where it hsan't been advertised much, you may get more sign ups. Just my experience.

I want to thank everybody for sharing their experience. That's exactly what I've been looking for.

It is so hard to get a decent downline nowadays. After a good clickthru and no referrals (which happened to me again in another PTR) I feel like a PR of a program who's not only not getting paid, but is actually paying money to be one.

It has always been hard to get referrals.

Some people religiously join all programs via a downline club hoping that a big builder will happen to join under them. Others will always try to earn from their referrers rather than from the programs. You cannot do anything for these persons.

When someone joins a program under you out of interest, there is a fair chance that (s)he stays active, and sometimes even brings in a bunch of referrals if the person likes the program. This will be your rewards.
