I have to disagree. Online trading can actually make you loose very, very, very much and not just very much. Hehehe.

It's something you definitely need to research. Who in their right mind would get online and start handing out money? Ok some would hehe

It is a risk. Very huge risk. If you are willing to take chances, then you can go on. Needs lots of research.

10 years ago, forex was limited to the banks and high net worth individuals. You probably need a minimum of $10000 to open an account. Right now, anybody can open an account with $100 or less.

Is that from your "Virtual" money?
In that case, I earned more than $50k in one day, what would you say to that?
From just merely $5 free cash provided by Marketiva, I don't think you can make $1000.
Even Warren Buffet will be speechless or laugh to last breath. LOLz!!

Actually, sundulhyip is talking about LOSING $1000. If he/she is talking Marketiva, it is highly possible given the recent spectacular runup in the USD.

One smart man said "The Forex market is, just like any other financial market, risky if you don't at least follow some form of a conservative trading strategy."
This is absolutely true and if you like to compare to something , the best match would be to compare it with casinos because it's pure gambling , on other hand many other activities are less risky ( for example writing , programming or even paid to read and click sites ) are less risky than forex market.

While I agree with you that many other activities are less risky than forex, I cannot agree that forex is gambling.
If trading in forex, or any other financial markets for that matter, is gambling, you will not have consistent winners, or losers. But we have traders who have consistently made money over many years, indicating that the market is not random.

Learning about the forex market, and how to trade it, is not that difficult. The million dollar question is to learn how to consistently make money in the forex market.

Personally I trade foreign exchange, or forex for short. Other common instruments would include stocks, CFDs, index futures, commodity futures and options.

If you have spare cash and don't mind losing it all and more, then you can give forex a try.

But seriously, forex is a very serious "game" played by the top minds in the world. You have to be at the top of your game to make money in forex. But yes, it can be fun too.

Exactly. I have traded forex for more than 3 years and before than, traded commodities, index futures and stocks for a further 10 years. It is only now that I feel that I am able to consistently make money from the financial markets.
